Will one of you come over to my house and kick me in the balls for reading The Rant page…

The misinformation, trolling and faux sympathy for Ms Harris is the most over the top shite ever!

But my dumbass keeps clicking over , mistakenly replying to some of them and allowing these idiots to raise my blood pressure.

Somebody come kick my arse … please

It’s out of control. The media isn’t helping either. Facts literally don’t matter at all. It’s embarrassing at this point. Make no mistake these people could care less someone was killed.

Yeah they are only in it for clicks and views. They don't care about the young lady who died. If they did they would have been on this for a month ago. Actually I'm my opinion what ESPN did with the clickbait headline making it seem like it was millers gun was way worse than anything oats said. They are using a dead mother to get views.

AL. Com started this whole fiasco with the misleading headline of their initial story.

“Miller provided murder weapon “.. then the confusing way they worded the article..

You’ll never convince me that wasn’t on purpose.

I hate that Ms Harris got killed.. I truly am.

But there’s more to this story than what’s being told.. but nobody is digging in to it because it’s easier just to crucify Miller and Oats.

But here’s what I want to know.

There was an altercation between Miles/Davis vs 2 guys in Jeep and Ms Harris.

If the guy driving the Jeep brandished his weapon, as reported.. then I’m sure Miles felt threatened.. anyone would!

Fast forward to Miller arriving, the Jeep pulling in after he had arrived. Was the driver of the Jeep looking to continue the altercation? If not, why didn’t he leave? Why pull back in?

I’m not defending what Miles did.. he’s a dumbass and always has been imo.

But there’s a reason he’s pleading not guilty, there’s a reason he’s pleading self defense.

I believe that in his infantile mind, he really believes that it was self defense. He’s a dumbass!

But the guy driving the Jeep is culpable too in my opinion! He’s not some angel.. yet nobody is talking about him. He may have escalated the altercation.. he did return fire and according to what we know.. was the first to brandish a weapon.

Anyway, someone come whip my arse.. please

Their hate for Bama has consumed them. It reminds us that Georgia hasn’t kicked us off the throne yet

Yes you are on point. If miller pulled up to get miles, then the jeep pulled up behind him.

He was not innocent at all, and he must have had his gun really close and ready to have shot Davis twice.

I think In my opinion that the guy in the jeep was just as much responsible for the escalation by not leaving after the first altercation. He was pissed about someone disrespecting his lady

I’m off work tomorrow so drunk post incoming. The trolling and concern trolling via shite that they don't truly care about has been bad for a while but holy shite this is worse. There is a lot of cringe internet lawyering going on and based on what I have read involving what is available to us it sounds like he broke no laws. I almost responded to a few posts in the Clay Travis thread on this board but decided against it. I'm going to give my thoughts here though because I think the subject is greater than a thread about Clay Travis. This is going to be a little political but not in the way some would expect.

In the Clay Travis thread Bamatide07 mentioned that they are center right and have no respect for Clay's opinions. I consider myself to be aligned with the right on most issues, with an occasional left leaning position on a few others. I actually like Outkick and Clay. One of the things that I like about that group is how, at least I perceive, they call out cancel culture/witch hunts and crap journalism. Just 8 days ago he was calling out the Brookings Institute & NYT for shite journalism and rightfully so. Also, you can go through Outkick’s history and see so many instances of them calling out the mob mentality that results in people getting cancelled. However, with the latest take Clay is proving to be nothing but a hypocrite. He is doing the exact same thing that he has accused so many others of.

Coming full circle to the rant, I think it’s safe to say that the average poster here is right of center, especially when you view the political board (no issue with that from me personally). It even bleeds over to other boards more often than not. A central rallying cry on the right is opposition to cancel culture (no issue and champion that and full support from me). I’ve even seen it called out often on the politics board and other boards at times. What is going on right now is cancel culture. No one there is waiting for the full story or actually reading the facts that have been released as of now and instead have decided to be judge and jury and trying to outrage mob themselves into being the executioner. Hypocrisy.

One of the best retrospective articles that I’ve ever read was titled “I Was the Mob Until the Mob Came for Me.” Audio version of it in case anyone is interested (starts around 1:02). A simple message from this is live by the mob, die by the mob. When you look at the obvious makeup of political/social opinions on the site as a whole, the average rant poster would normally be against this. Don’t become the thing that you hate.

I lurked without an account for years before making mine in 2015. I really only made this account after woolly had been dead for a bit. shite was so much more tame back then.

A guy on the rant literally just said there won’t be a trial for this case. It’s capital murder. I’m done I can’t read this shite anymore…

This isn’t anything new with Clay. He launched Outkick the very day the TTown Menswear story blew up and he literally peddled fake photos in order to convict our players in the court of public opinion. He found a niche as being the anti-woke sports guy but the truth is he’s just the other side of the same coin. The guy is a carnival barker and he only cares about one thing: getting more engagement. So this story and reaction is a dream for him. Every time a Bama fan links his tweets or replies, it’s a win for Clay. He doesn’t care that Outkick blatantly committed libel today…because he knows that Miller won’t sue and it just increases the visibility of his brand.

I had a run in with Clay in 2010 after Mark won the Heisman.

He was on WJOX talking about how Mark Ingram was statistically the worst Heisman winner ever. So , I called in … not something I have ever done before or since.

I challenged Clay by saying, “how can he be the worst ever considering he had more total yards than Bo did the year he won it”.

Of course, Clay said, “so you think Ingram is better than Bo”?

Nope, didn’t say that.. just saying statistically he had a better season… so how can he be the worst ?

Clay said and I quote, “I know you think you’re smart but you couldn’t beat me in a spelling contest” ! Then they cut me off.. lol
