Why..I am always happy when a Bama ast gets a good HC coach. You dont have enough faith that NS can get a good OC. He has plenty of them right now in TTown as observers

If Sark wants to be be a HC again he will be one next year, so you might as well go ahead and accept it.

Back to back Saban disciples might be a hard sell. I think Sark gets his pick of high-profile jobs anywhere in the country when teams can once again afford to start firing their head coaches. Who knows, personally, I think SEC teams are ready to get away from the DC head coach background. They want the next Kiffin, so Sark will stay a hot commodity.

It’s funny that it seems like the guys from the Offensive side under Saban have been more successful OCs. Kiffin, Napier, Cristobal.

I posted a while back that Michigan will be the one to keep and eye on.But I will say Cinn's coach would be the favorite.
Now if Cinn makes the playoffs he may consider staying unless Mich makes a $ offer Cinn cant compete with.

Sark is in all likelihood going to get a good job this offseason.

Don't want to leave out Jimbo. He has some hardware. Actually just being a good head coach is probably the better answer. Mark Dantonio did more with less and just got being the lead man. Muschamp isn't a guy that just struggles with putting a talented offense consistently on the field he just struggles to put a consistent team on the field. I think that translates to him just being a bad HC.

As Kiffin said coming off the field Saturday, someday we are going to have to learn how to stop somebody. Cristobal and Napier look very much like they have figured out both sides of the LOS. But the returns are early.

I don't think those two would be viewed that way. Muschamp was CiW and dc at Texas, hc at Fl, Dc at Auburn, then South Carolina and known as a defense first coach.

Sark is straight from Saban and running the best offense in college football. And i don't see how coaching under someone who is considered to be the greatest coach in college football currently and possibly of all time would make someone a hard sell.

I like Napier a lot but he's literally 3 plays away from having his shine this season really fade.

It's the G-5 effect. For whatever reason in D-1 football there's no parity at the FCS level, no parity at the P-5 level, and a frick ton of parity at the G-5 level. I honestly would not touch a G-5 coach unless and until he's able to maintain success for at least 3-4 consecutive seasons.

Yea it's a total crap shoot, much like college basketball.

The G5 and big P5 are almost totally different sports in terms of the nuts and bolts of them.

Could be, it is SC, and to get that type of name recognition would probably be a coup. But Sark can probably pick his job if he's patient and he's going to be looking up at Georgia and Florida over there. I think Sark will have more suitors after him than Kiffin. He just needs to choose well.

I don't know why so many of y'all think that the circumstances of this season are going to grind the coaching carousel to a halt. Boosters pay buyouts. The kind of boosters who pay buyouts are largely insulated from the current economic situation and will be willing to pony up the cash if they want the coach gone badly enough. There will be multiple openings this offseason. Hell, with this mornings article about Rape U down in Baton Rouge O may be getting shite canned.

I have faith Saban will hire someone smart that most of the knuckle dragging idiots in our fanbase will initially hate like they did with Kiffin and Sark.

Sark isn't going there. They likely will get Napier/Freeze to SC

Yep. I mean remember Loyola Chicago? Their coach has been there a decade and has made the NCAA tournament one time. He just happened to make it to the Final Four that year. No one hired him because most major conference ADs have wised up a bit and realized that a Cinderella tournament run doesn't necessarily make a guy a good coach.

I've been amazed by Sark's adjustments this season. They may have broken the code on being genuinely balanced. An explosive offense that can be proficient at pushing teams around in the running game and controlling clock. That's not what I saw last season.
