Paul Tyson and Hewitt-Trussville are beating the hell out of Hoover, 35-14 right before the half. They have it all going, running, passing, moving the football at will. Robby Ashford just took a sack before the half and looks hurt.

Hoover got ball back down a td.

Robby Ashford picked at the line by Eric Taylor who returns it a few yards for the pick 6. Hoover down 28-42 heading into the 4th.

In more 6A action, #2 Oxford defeated Charles Henderson (Troy) 62-0. It was 48-0 at the half. The Yellow Jackets have recorded three shutouts in their first four games, and are outscoring the opposition 158-6.

Next week, Oxford plays Pinson Valley at Lamar Field in O-Town.
