Though I'm not a proponent of drug use in any form or fashion I am a proponent of a justice system that gives people the opportunity to learn from mistakes made. Don't think anyone's life or career should be destroyed because of a 1st time arrest (depending on charge).

Hopefully he can move forward and do great things.

Given how quickly he reached this agreement and the dismissal if he completes the program, this feels like best case scenario

As a proponent of drug use, I smoked a joint to celebrate when I heard the good news. Until he's finished the program, the only thing Aden can light up is 3 line.

That's because it is. He should be finished with his sentence before the season begins.

Never any doubt. I understand why people freaked out, but from a prosecutorial standpoint a young guy with no priors and no guns getting popped for weed in even a felony amount is less consequential than a DUI. He was always going to get some kind of diversion or youthful offender status.
