What's the appropriate amount of ink?
And let us know what comments his parents should have added.

I live in Birmingham. Lived in SD for a while. Spent a lot of time in Southern Cal. The weather’s nice. That’s about it.

Well, they live there till it falls apart. They they move and vote for the same garbage again and ruin someplace new.

I love that you guys, even given the current state of the country, can find a way to jerk each other off over current day “conservative” politics in a *checks notes* college basketball thread. Y’all are certainly dedicated

This conversation started because people claimed we here on Alabama are brainwashed about marijuana and compared us to California. Then someone mentioned that California has the "5th highest GDP in the world," and I'm sure didn't expect there to be people who actually live and work in the state here to highlight the realities of that state and the differences between them and our state.
If telling the truth is "conservative," then I'm not sure why I'd be anything else.
Additionally, the "current state of the country" is awesome. If we go back to Democrat rule, you'll be wishing for these days to come back.

I am waiting for Aden to do his diss track and go on Afroman arc.

Well he’s already done “because I got high”. Might as well do the diss track at this point.

Sandkhan you do give a shite though. You are always knee deep in these types of threads. You can't help yourself. Take a toke and not a shot.

I’m usually in the threads asking people not to make everything political. Lol.
Like I’m accused of advancing this by saying California has a high GDP and people take that as liberal praise and must make it a thing. It’s exhausting

its not a claim, its a fact. and its not just folks in Alabama

You can squawk about attitudes here towards marijuana all you want. Youre missing the point here, The point is what Holloway did was illegal, and he knew it. No different than breaking any other law. Just have to let it play out.
I dont like the shite myself. Thats just a fact. If I could make it go away I would. But, I am also a realist. That genie's long out of the bottle, and in some cases such as chronic pain I believe it has real value.
I want to get it out of the hands of the cartels and criminals and use it to generate tax revenue, so I would treat it much like alcohol. But until that time, and it will eventually happen much like the lottery, the law is the law until it is changed.

"The point" has been covered in here pretty extensively, and everyone pretty much agrees that it was dumb to have that much pot and to put himself in that situation.

The objectively correct opinion because I agree with it.

No, it's not a fact. He broke the law. There is no broader story than that. He knew it was illegal and he knew what he was doing could lead to an arrest.
Whether or not anyone agrees or disagrees with the law he broke is irrelevant to that discussion. He made extremely stupid decisions.

States with legal marijuana aren't really seeing a decrease in illegal sales because taxing makes it cost more than buying it illegally. I don't think legalizing it has actually hurt the cartels at all.
ETA: This isn't really an argument for or against legalizing it. I fully support it not being illegal, legalizing it just hasn't had any of the effects people assumed it would have or advocates claimed it would have.
