Now, masks on the other hand, are a whole different ballgame. I will absolutely make fun of you for wearing a mask. It shows me that you are a fricking idiot, especially if you're wearing one outside.

I have a friend that wears a mask during elevated pollen counts for allergy relief. Its been a viable option for severe allergy sufferers for a long time. FYI

Good deal.

As long as he knows the mask won't stop him from getting the China Flu, of course.

I've known your online persona for a long time now, and I would not have guessed a year ago that you would say something like this. I think the past 18 months has taken a toll on a lot of families around the world.

My wife lost her father to covid in January after he fought hard to live for about three weeks.

He worked 6 days a week as long as I knew him. He was 60 years old, but was in good health, and had a great personality. I genuinely loved him, and my wife was obviously wrecked by the sudden loss. It was a very difficult and painful time for our family.

My sisters husband spent two weeks in the hospital last month. He was the biggest anti vax / conservative / "everyone getting the vax is an idiot" guy out there. He almost died, and still has not recovered completely. His lungs were damaged, and he is still on oxygen at home. This is the guy everyone goes to his house for BBQ on gameday kinda fella... a lot of fun- for the record almost dying obviously changed his mind. He is now having their kids vaxed, and is anxiously awaiting when he is eligibly for the vax himself.

Thought I would share. Dont care to engage in any debate, or argue about a topic like this. Simply passing along what we've witnessed from this virus in my immediate family. Good luck to everyone whatever you do.

Also I agree with the earlier comment about letting the vax and political talk reside on the political board. I come here to forget about all this for a few minutes a day, and seeing the never ending arguing and mud slinging over something that has harmed so many families around the world has been unfortunate. That's my two cents. Thanks

If I don’t wear a N95 when I mow the lawn I’ll be stuffed up for a week.

The mask helps slowdown the spread of the virus. Every person I know that wears one as a habit hasn't caught it, but the folks who are don't? Plenty of 'em.

Planning to get the Vaccine this Friday.

Then why are mask wearing states having wave after wave of infections?

I said it earlier in the thread: You are a fool if you don't get vaccinated. You are really playing Russian Roulette. Chances are you will probably be OK....but maybe not. You have no idea how it will affect you.

I got pneumonia about five years ago....the nasty, deadly kind and thought I was going to die. Still have scar tissue in my lungs from it. These upper respiratory viruses are no joke man.

Everyone I know to include me, and my entire family got Covid while wearing a mask. It’s a complete folklore.

Ok don’t, look it up all across the world. It’s not like they aren’t reporting it.

“85% of Covid patients report always or often wearing a mask” signed the CDC

My favorite is the dudes wearing a neck gaiter and their beards poking through it.

My favorites are the dudes who are against wearing masks claiming they always wore one for the 14 days before they tested positive.

Although I hate wearing a mask, I wore one indoors in public places (except the gym). After getting vaccinated (March-April), I quit wearing any (except when inside medical facilities).

Seriously though, my judge liked to make fun of me because I wear a mask with my beard. Just a cloth one…not a gaiter. Tells me it looks a bear hiding behind a bush. I do wear a fairer while mowing the lawn. I’m dead otherwise.

I wore one every where I went, sans my house and car, when I caught it. You couldn't go into any stores here without one and my workplace mandated them.

Since we have to wear one in school, I choose the gaiters. I know they are the least effective but hell they are way more comfortable

Welp, it's been approximately 16 hours since I got the shot.

Nothing to report.
