“Players don’t come here so say anything good it won’t give them the big head. “

“Player’s friends and family come her so don’t say anything bad about them. “

Lol. That’s some dumb logic

I swear I think you are trying to jinx us. This is like the third thread of this variety you’ve started.

You sound just like my Dad he was overconfident we were gonna beat the hell out of Georgia more than I was and he turned out to be right. I like your confidence man I'm trying to get to that level but I have a strong feeling that some BS is gonna happen to us

I don't up, or downvote (it's immature and shows insecurity), but I can certainly understand the trepidation most folks feel about having to beat Georgia TWICE, and without Metchie to take pressure off of #1.
If the confidence level is that high, I know a guy who'll take any bet you want to make....and give you three points!

If you are not confident we are going to win this game you are either a pussy or you don’t know football.

I'm nearly always what some folks call a sunshine pumper, and the negative Bammers irritate the hell out of me, but how we feel about it will have zero bearing on the game, as ever.

I don't know any Bama fans that aren't a little worried. That game was a totally different game after Metchie went down and they started bringing pressure. Now add possible two starting o lineman down with injuries. We need someone else to step up, so they can't double Jamo all night. Defensively ,Bowers is gonna get his, but gotta keep him in front. I feel pretty good at our ability to limit their rushing attack and to get pressure to Bennett. Pressure him and he will turn it over like last game. I think this is gonna be a nerve wrecking game that can go either way.

I didn’t downvote you, but I will say that when you break down the first game that advanced statistics/play by play success breakdowns, etc suggest it was a little closer than the “beatdown” most people remember it as. Alabama was better for sure but there is a path for Georgia to win this game if they make the right adjustments and get a few breaks. Still, I think Saban and staff will make their own adjustments and best Smart and company again in a close one.

If Bennett doesn't throw two interceptions would be a starter. Close game without those two

Everyone conveniently forgets Georgia had nearly 500 yards of offense in the first game. They had an int and turned the ball over on downs in the redzone.

Those yards don't mean shite if you don't actually score points. Stetson also got lucky on the first drive with a for sure pick six that was dropped.

We didn't play great on defense the first game but the yardage total is going to be 350+ again this game even if we play great. Georgia gains yards. The key is to make them go on a bunch of long drives and have to convert in the red zone.

Making Stetson have to throw on 3rd and 6+, especially in a compact area, is absolutely an advantage for us. Would we rather get 3 and outs every drive? Obviously. But the red zone TODs and INT were not one off occurrences. He had another pick 6 dropped on the first drive of the game. They happened because that is what his and their weakness is. He's consistently proven it throughout his career.

When Stetson throws on his terms and without pressure, he's very, very, very good.

When Stetson throws on the defense's terms, he's average at best and a massive liability for the offense at worst.

Got to take Steton's security blanket #19 away from him.

The flow of that game went perfect for Bama (us). Georgia became our ball control offense with those clock draing drives with no points in the second half. It reminded me of us against Clemson in the 2018/2019 championship game.

And that is who they are. They have been all year. They are very efficient offense, but they are not explosive and they struggle when they are put behind the sticks. It just hadn't happened very much during the season, but the stats showed it. And, as we all discussed, that is something we are pretty well equipped to do between our pass rush and run defense.

I honestly didn't think we played a great defensive game against them - between all the throw it up deep penalties we had, some coverage busts, etc, I thought we played well but definitely not some all-time great game. I think there is clear room for improvement on defense, which is encouraging.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if we won again. Did not surprise me that we won the first time.
We are a very talented team with an All Timer as a head coach.
I am afraid of the law of averages catching up with us. We have tempted fate too many times against them and come out on top.
When does the cookie crumble their way? Hopefully not this time.

Give Bryce time to throw. Let him get into a rhythm. Alabama can win this one too but some guys on offense need to step up.
It helps that BRob is probably healthier this time around.
