I’ve seen enough, he needs to pack his bags and go back to the west coast. I admit I was wrong about Keelon Russell being ready for prime time and calling him the best quarterback in college football, but he obviously still has some growing up to do. Grubb is calling plays like we have prime Tom Brady or Drew Brees throwing the football. First 6 plays called in hostile loud environment against probably the best defense we’ll see this season were all passes. Then when he finally does try to run, they hand it to Brooks on an end around, then 2 soft draws. We did get some nice runs from Hill before Grubb decides to spread the field and throw it again. The guy has zero feel for the game and has no clue what defenses are trying to do against us. I don’t want to blame it all on Grubb, because Womack deserves criticism too. Why do we stay in a 10 yard cushion at corner all game against a freshman quarterback that continues to hit us with short throws and wide receiver screens? I thought at some point we’d see some press man to man and force them to beat us over the top. But nope, just continue letting them get 1st down after 1st down and burn clock. It was a total failure of a game plan and horrible job of making adjustments. I’m done with both coordinators

Both coordinators hiring and their decisions fall on DebBoer. It all has to go through him....and he'll hire more coordinators just like them if they are replaced because Deboer is in over his head. I thought he was doing better but maybe not... Deboer doesn't want 'dog' coordinators because they'd call him out for being soft..............The ultimate decision down the road is replacing Deboer but its going to be a very rough time till then because our admin made bad decisions and they are very very slow to admit it and make changes.

Russell would look fantastic if his line gave him more time and if we had a supportive run game.

I’ve never hated a coach more than DeBoer. Bama isn’t the job for him. Point blank stop. I k know we aren’t getting another Saban, but this team has zero aggression. No heart. We have talent. You take the form of your leader. I fricking can’t stand that constipated squinting on the sidelines when shite goes sideways. I’m still pissed and I want his arse gone.

I wish the people calling the shots had the same mindset as you for what they wanted in a coach to meet the Bama standard.

Said it last night. He doesn’t have enough pride or bama in him and I may have too damn much but I’m tired of this weak arse uninspired football.

Getting rid of 2 coordinators is a whole lot easier than getting rid of a coach that we owe millions to. If I was making these decisions I meet with the coach and demand he find some good coordinators this offseason and if he don’t make those adjustments, let it be known that he’s next

I firmly believe coordinators make a much bigger difference than we realize. Honestly think DeBoer would be very open to any kind of adapting that a good OC would present to him. I actually like a lot of CKD’s game time decisions and certain calls…that 4th down call before the half against UGA last week, stuff like that I think shows he really trusts the team and he just trusts his coordinators too much with their scripting and playcalling…and if we are being fair, it was only up until these past 2 games this season they were not able to adjust and come back and solidly win games.

How long does it take to throw into the flat, a TE/WR curl, slant, etc? Grubby wants him to look long, and check down from there. Against Ds like Ga, Tn, and L$u, time will be up and KR will have to scramble or take a sack.
In the GA game there were TEs open several times that he chose not to throw to. Yesterday on one play, Hill could have caught a 5 yd pass and gone for 30 yds. Grubby is ruining KR!

Only on the last drive did Bama start throwing short.
And we don’t know how good the running game is. Hill had a couple of nice runs right up the gut, but Grubby is determined to run wide, results be damned.
