Maybe $90M in donations were designated by donors for football facilities.

Coleman Seating
Looks like hard seating is 14,474 and with additional seating added (chairs) can max out at 15,383

What is the total profit from BB for a year?

Construction cost will continue to increase for year 2023. They're going to have to do something about it, the longer they wait, the more expensive it'll get. They need to act on it now. We will lose Nate Oats to another school this offseason...

At the end of 2021, Alabama finished 9.6 million in the black. That was the total over all sports though.

Ohio States men’s basketball team averaged a $7.3 million profit annually from 2017-19; in that same span Alabama’s averaged $3.4 million

Here's some info from 2017-2019.

Here's another article that breaks it down by sport. Looks like Football and Men's basketball are the only ones turning a profit.
Here's a site that has searchable tools regarding Alabama revenue and expenses and breakdowns of where the money goes.

It really does depend on what the treasury does with interest rates. I think the fed thinks our problem with inflation is primarily related to labor costs, and the only way to fix that is with unemployment, which means a big time recession. That could change a lot of things. The other factor is NIL. That is probably eating up a lot of donor money now, rather than going to facilities. We are in financial times that are hard to predict. I just think the Biden infrastructure plan will pump so much money into construction that those labor cost will remain high.

I've been in building material distribution for several years. I do all the ordering for our location. The only material price drops I've seen are on lumber, but lumber is basically a commodity that fluctuates like oil. Our primary product is roofing and it has only continued to climb. So much is dependent upon oil prices driving transportation costs. For example, a container purchased from overseas costs us @ $6-7,000 in shipping a couple of years ago. Now, that same container costs @ $32-35,000 in shipping. Just the shipping.
Slightly different angle on subject, but what's coming with China and it's economy is going to blow up the system in the very near future. It will be the first of all the major world economies to see the affect of the negative population growth rate. (Their economy is in a bad position already) It will put the economic system in such a place that their only option is to take over Taiwan (and possibly South Korea) and the computer chip supply. They will basically hold the world hostage over the need for computer chips.
Remember the car lots bring almost empty and people having trouble finding new trucks. That came from a slow down in getting computer chips to finish the vehicles. Now multiply that over all industries and the supply of chips stops completely. It's chaos.
Currently the world's computer chips come from the following sources:
Taiwan 63%
South Korea 18%
China 6%
Others 13%
When the computer chips go away, we essentially go back to the stone age technologically.
Sorry for going off topic.

That's ridiculous. Football doesn't even need that money.

they do for new facilities etc. Facilities upgrades etc are a never ending battle to keep up with the teams down the street.

It’s a pure embarrassment. Coleman mausoleum is a disgrace. Every time we are on TV I cringe that the whole country has to look at that shithole.

If I win the $1.35 billion lotto tonight some of that is already earmarked for a new arena.
