Ragland should be in there.

Most of his missed tackles seemed to be just a lack of effort which is annoying.

this. he calls the defense pretty good, he just doesn't always execute.

cant' deny he's one of the worst of the saban era, but that's not saying much

He's slow AND takes terrible angles. That's a very bad combination.

After watching this film, if 33 is in our nickel and dime packages, I will be very disappointed

Yeah.. Depriest did not have a very good game. He was fortunate when he blew a play and Dak went the opposite direction once, then whiffing on a 3rd and 10 and a couple others.. he's had a lot better days.

He has been the "weakest link" on the D so far. Alot of people got on me when I said he is carrying alot of bad weight, but it's true. I would like to see D. Lee and Ragland on the inside against Auburn.

he was horrible.. and 27 had some good plays but many times he did not wrap up and they got extra yards.

Not a lack of effort; he is just fat and slow.

Now OJ Howard? That is a lack of effort.

ETA: We can't get rid of him, he knows the defense and can make the checks. He has to be out there.

Not his best game, my friend.

That said, I'm drunk and thrilled

I agree with all the posts. I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt due to the physical game last week. Maybe fat takes more time to recover than muscle, thus the reason for the bad play today. He was improving as the season went along, but took a huge leap back.

The whole d's effort went down a notch in the 2nd half as well as energy .Scared me but Our d was nasty in the 1st half and when it mattered

I honestly think Mullen coached circles around Kirby in the 2nd half. We couldn't figure them out at all.

Nah. On half their first downs you'll see our MLB running behind a back to the edge.

Energy? Yes. They were worn out. The offense didn't help them much at all in the 2nd half. 3 and out. Effort? shite, they were worn out.

Maybe, but at the end of the day, the guy knows how to call the defense and that makes up for his shortcomings IMO.

I'd rather have Ragland out there.

Depriest looked absolutely pathetic on multiple occasions.
