Another thing I wonder is... is that a weakness for this staff?

Do they struggle to adjust at halftime or after a team adjust at halftime?

I really don't like what I saw.

Kirby and co adjusted and we just didn't, then we just went ultra-conservative to protect the lead

It is hard to call a game with a 30-7 halftime lead when you feel like big plays and turnovers are their only path back into the game. Even so, we did not run the tailbacks enough even though their adjustments lead me to believe counter handoffs were probably there for the taking all second half due to how they were flowing to the perimeter.

Really struggled to get consistent pressure on Beck in the 2nd half. Essentially got torched every possession from their 2nd of the 2nd half to the end. Secondary is going to have to get better quick because Tennessee is gonna wear that arse out if not.

Kirby is a damn good coach. I knew they would make adjustments. Like everyone has said we got a win and gave the coaches a good heart attack. Can’t take your foot off in this league. Win/ win to me

In defense of the backs, I feel like Milroe wasn't as sharp on his zone reads in the second half as he was prior. I also believe they could have had more straight up run calls to let the backs get down hill.

Honestly, I got to see the tape again but I think he blew one major read and kind of another.

The rest all options were dead regardless of what he did. That was the play called, not the player.

Put it like this...

Milroe was trying to make chicken soup out of chicken shite plays which UGA were killing at the point of attack

I will say when we needed to move the ball.. Empty set with Milroe making quick passes was money... All night

We didn't do it much in the second half because we didn't need quick passing

Yeah that was a major issue. Could be we were gassed but still a concern

We need a better pass rush from the front 4. Qua had been great before his injury and Q had done well before tonight, so I'm looking for those two to pick it up going forward.

You're drunk and stupid. 2nd half play calling was responsible for our struggles. Jalen played a great game and did all the things his critics give him shite about. Short to intermediate throws and passes over the middle. He played great.

We also were dropping 7 or 8 almost every play.

Yeah, he made the reads and the throws. Threw some absolute dimes.

Milroe has a big issue with time management though. We needs to actually use the clock. It isn't always about speed. Milk it when we need to

Gotta be ranked #1 next week, no?

If we would have maintained and ran away with it, maybe.

But now, nope. Texas passes the media and eye test and looks flawless. We look talented, dangerous and flawed. Its all pretty irrelevant, its all about stacking wins NFL style and getting into the playoff.

It amazes me how some people can't tell when an offense goes into conservative mode...

But they should have never been in conservative mode.

Since points scored is going to be a factor for tie breakers you should never let up.

First problem was Kirby adjusted and we didn't.

Instead of adjusting, we went ultra-conservative.

Kirby is talking about how great a player Milroe is and how hard he is to stop yet the braintrusts on here blame him for everything and think he is average or sucks

If I was a 5 star running back I would not play in this offense. Just saying
