can't decide which is true for Milroe

He's clearly just dumb. He has the IQ of a HS QB from a bullshite program. Nobody has ever taught this kid how to play QB. He's just fast and can throw it far so people thought he could be a great QB. It's amazing he's made it this far. But his gameplay is not impressive at all.

Did you feel that way about Tua?

It didn't happen every set of downs with Tua

That's because there was someone almost always open. Which makes sense as he was throwing to the likes of Jeudy, Ruggs III, Waddle, Ridley, and Smith. When receivers didn't get open immediately, Tua held onto the football far longer than was necessary. If not for 2nd & 26 it would have cost us a national championship. And then there were the instances in 2019 where he held onto the ball too long and got himself hurt (Tennessee and Mississippi State).

Considering Nick Saban has won 198 football games at Alabama since he took over in 2007, I am going to give the man the benefit of the doubt and believe it when he says that Milroe gives us the best opportunity to win at the current moment. Maybe Ty Simpson will develop into a better player and replace Milroe later on in the season. But for now, I have to believe that Milroe is the better QB.

Don't move the goalposts. Answer the question. Did you think Tua was stupid or putting himself before the team every time he tried to extend a dead play and got sacked? Because he did it a lot.

This thought crossed my mind and it's not reassuring, is it?

At least he seems to make it close to the line of scrimmage most times these days...

I was encouraged by at least one play, I'm sure most will remember...

(Much talk has been made about his speed vs quickness, a problem I was familiar with growing up. As I explained to my wife, there aren't many opportunities for open-field racing.)

But at least once Saturday, Milroe pulled the Bryce Young - and dodged an incoming blitz. As I explained to the wife, you only need to win sometimes by moving inches or a couple of feet.

Every time Tua took a tackle/sack for a loss when he could have thrown it away, I thought he was stupid. I think that of EVERY QB. And just so we are clear, I was one of the biggest Milroe champions on this board. Dude does not have it

So on top of playing politics to force Saban’s hand into starting him, he is directly sabotaging the team just to keep his completion percentage up?

Honest to God did y’all walk in on Milroe and your wives?

Excellent. It's really a shame you were denied your shot at greatness so we could have experienced flawless QB play. I'm sure if coach had just put you in the game y'all would have won state and you'd have gotten a scholarship. Can you throw a ball over a mountain perhaps?

What do you and the rest of the people constantly shitting on Milroe actually want? I was fully on board with the other QBs getting their shot after the Texas game. They got it. It was a total disaster because as bad as you think Milroe is, Buchner and Simpson are even worse. Lonergan isn't realistic until after the bye, if then, and he's a freshman so he's going to play like total shite at times, which y'all will bitch about endlessly. UGA just won back to back titles with a talentless 34 year old drunk at QB. If we can't even win a very down SEC with Milroe then the rest of the team wasn't worth a damn.

Yeah it was stupid, its always stupid. But Tua made up for it by throwing a shitload of TDs.

It's like small tits. They are never good, but some girls can make up for it and some cant.

I knew that your question was an opportunity for you to take a shot - and I answered anyway. You are a jerk, and that's all I am going to say about that

I take that back - I WILL say one more thing about it: it doesn't take a former GREAT QB to make the assessment that Milroe doesn't have it. And if you look at my post history, I have supported him constantly. Get over yourself

This place fvckin sucks. It's either people who hate everything or psychopaths like jwryan saying absurd over the top positive things. When the hell did this place melt down like this?

This is a work in progress team. If they keep improving they have a shot to be pretty salty. If they don't, they won't. About half our fanbase seems incapable of watching football where we aren't favored by 17 every single game. Newsflash, those days are gone and won't be back anytime soon.

They want something that we simply do not have. They really believe that we have AJ McCarron sitting on the bench.

to be fair, jwryan is really the only person that is truly sunshine pumping for Milroe.

Says the guy suggesting a college kid is either stupid or prioritizing his stats over winning the game because he tries too hard to extend plays and sometimes fricks it up.
