I remember when people on BOL were ready to name him as the heir to Saban's throne.
Good times.
Good times.

Hopefully he learned a lot with the Cleveland fiasco. Would like to see him do well

Freddie is a good guy. He was a little bit over his head with the Browns, they were a horribly undisciplined mess that season. Hopefully he’s learned from the experience and his mistakes.

Freddie Kitchens is tougher than a bowling shoe and would make a damn good coach for the Tar Heels.

I remember when Dabo was named interim coach of the Clemson football team…

IIRC he got the job bc he was the only coach to question Hue Jackson during a meeting on Hard Knocks.

This sounds on brand for the organization that gave the biggest contract in NFL history to a prolific sexual predator because the owner's daughter didn't have a problem with it.

Who isn't in over his head coaching the Browns? I haven't watched an NFL game start to finish in decades and even I can tell you the Browns always suck

Well your unfamiliarity with the NFL is why it might surprise you to know that the Browns were 11-5 and made it to the playoffs and won a playoff game the year after Freddie got canned and have been back to the playoffs once more since then. Again, I like Freddie but it’s a jump to hyperspace to be an NFL head coach with only a handful of games as a coordinator because a head coach on all levels has to be as much a CEO as anything. From what I’ve read, he got so caught up in and got so territorial about play calling … which is his wheelhouse … other stuff suffered and it ended up with him and some of his players ready to kill each other.

I see him or Schumann as the UNC coach
