I mean, I hate to over react, but looks like this team and staff are about to cannibalize each other.

About to??? What you saw on the field at the end of the game. It’s happening. Now we have anxiety again. Bahahaha. What a shite show.

I have told people for years when Saban retired, I’m going to retire with him.

I really should have listened to myself.

I mean…now I’m just watching teenagers and early 20 something year olds do something they are getting paid for. They are no longer playing because they love it, or to increase their opportunity for success in the future.

Why would anyone care so much about watching some dudes essentially do a job they were hired for? I can go down to my local pizza place and watch some teenager toss dough in the air, I mean it’s essentially the same thing, just a dude doing something at half arse effort he’s getting paid for. I mean I really don’t care if he pokes a hole in the dough or drops it on the floor.

Good grief, we’re back on the “anxiety” excuse again? It was weak when Will Anderson said it, it is weak now with MM saying it.

There are some exceptions, of course, but for the most part, the crop of kids to come through UA’s football program over the last 3-4 years has been so incredibly antithetical to Saban’s “Process” and it’s been very disappointing to witness.

Good post, Alfie. It should surprise no one that DeShawn Watson is playing as crappy and uninspired as he is now. He got his $$$ no matter what happened after he signed that contract. Pretty much the same situation most collegiate athletes have in today's environment.

The sport is broken, Saban is gone, man I need a new hobby. Maybe I’ll just watch game day on Saturday morning and then wait for SEC shorts and SEC roll call to come out after.

Anxiety is nothing knew. It's just a different term for describing what players have always felt in game situations where they're unsure. Obviously, some speaker discussed it with them and the term has been added to their lexicon.

The issue isn't the players openly discussing uncertainty. The issue is that they're uncertain.

Anyway, I'm a disappointing basketball season away from not giving a single frick about sports.

And that they're discussing their "anxiety" publicly and turning this into a chit show.

This is my point. Some of you think anxiety is some kind of dirty word. But, if the players just said they were confused and couldn't play at full speed, you'd think it was normal and fixable.

Understood, What I'm saying is that you tell & discuss it with your coaches & teammates, not reporters and through social media (jmho).

What’s happens in house stays in house. If you have anxiety don’t blast it all over the country. Private discussions and move forward. Shows weakness. Shows confusion.

Again, nobody would say this if they just described it in dumb words. That's the issue, stupid people think the players are describing some shameful pussy feelings or something that should be kept private. But, they're just talking about normal sports issues in terms that make some people uncomfortable.

Words aren't the problem.

Get Pruitt back as DC. I don't even know all the details, but apparently anything goes in today's college football...just get him back. I know he'd have to sit out a year, but could he be an off field analyst for 1 year?

I watched a few plays in the vid, and I still contend that our big problem was guys not winning their 1 on 1s and playing half-assed.

On one play around the left end, a keeper by Pavia, Moore let the TE get into his chest to block him, and he couldn't shed the block to save his fricking life. Pathetic. Pavia gets the first down. At the 52:25 mark.

I’m not watching this I saw it live. We have a lot of work to do. It’s that simple.
