Ole Miss game should be the best earlier indicator of what this team can do. Really looking forward to that one.

You don't complete 16 passes and 3 TDs throwing two good passes all scrimmage. That's just a stupid statement. I know Coker is inconsistent, which is what may cost him the job, but he is not terrible like some want to make him seem. Why not start Morris in games and if we need some plays at the end of games to win and Morris can't sling it that well, bring in Coker? Not ideal, but Spurrier rotated guys a ton when he was killing it at UF.

while i agree totally with bringing in another guy if the starter is struggling. nick saban, dont. cns will lose the game before he will bring in the guy that did not win the position. in sabans world the backup could never do better than the starter because the starter won the position over the backup. heard cns go off on a reporter once that asked him this very question.

Don't see it. Tough schedule, but the D is too good.

I am kinda thinking two losses sounds about right to me. I think early on, the running game and the D will have to carry the load until the passing game gets settled a bit, BUT as for your take on the D...to a certain extent I agree however if/when the offense bogs down over and over in games, like the Arky game last year, even the best of defenses can hold out so long before we have to put points up or at a minimum get some yardage to not leave the D on its heels constantly. We were fortunate it was Arky we were playing last year in that game and I am afraid we might take a couple of burns in games with more astute offenses this year if our offense gets in a funk.

Personally I think our toughest games will be against Texas A&M and Tennessee. I like our secondary though and I think this defense is a faster 2011. Kirkpatrick Milliner and Barron will be hard to one up. 2011 secondary is better but front 7 is better than 2011.

I don't think UGA would be the ones to upset us. Our strength is run stop and all they have is Chubb. Their pass rush will be tough but I like our OL. Their secondary is trash.

Auburn is all hype once again.

Miss State has Prescott. That's it.

LSU is coached by a bunch of clowns but will be decent if Harris is their QB. They have good backs, receivers, and secondary. Play them at home.

Arkansas won't be that great. Stack the box against Alex Collins. Ball game.

Ole Miss. Solid defense. Will depend on Chad Kelly. We play them at home and it's a revenge game.

Tennessee will be tough. They will have a good front 7. They have cam sutton as well so they'll have an ok defense. Their offense won't be bad but they will be one dimensional with that shitty OL. Badass WRs and Dobbs can run. We play them at home.

Texas A&M will be the one to beat us if we lose one IMO. RSJ, Reynolds, Noil, Kirk, Pope at WR, Kyle Allen, not a completely awful defense. Even if it's an average defense they will be legit. Daylon Mack, Myles Garrett are a threat at DL. They really don't have the pieces on defense yet but we play them there.

That is my run down on what we are looking at.

I am not concerned about UT unless we are having a bad season. I could easily see UT coming in to TTown 3-3. I know they get a bye the week prior but have a tough 3 games that includes @UF and back to back home games with Ark & UGA. I believe between those 3 and OU(their 2nd game) they will have 3 losses. Those fans get all up on preseason hype but when reality sets in for yet another disappointing season the pressure will be on for CBJ to produce and am I still not convinced he can coach.

In regards to their offense they have the weapons at both WR and RB with Hurd in the backfield. But I am not sold on Dobbs.

I've been following UT's fall camp. I think that McKenzie kid is going to frick up some OL for the next 3 years.

I'll be paying close attention to their games against OU, Arky and UGA.

I believe the kid is legit and have no doubt they have talent on the D. But their OL is not great so reports from their fall camp regarding how good their DL is holds about as much value as the reports about how our O looks against our D in camp.

Plus a team can have talent but they need a coach to make it produce. I am not convinced Jones is the guy.

I will watch as well but still think they drop at least two of those games. I also think when they play at UF that CJM will give their D a challenge.

we are 8 or 9 deep and he may be in that group especially on downs that favorite his skill set. A few of our DE's lost weight so they could stay on the field longer.

I'm hearing we're going to rotate all 5 QBs all year. Each series will be decided by roshambo.
