That first, but a review of this thread may be prudent.

There was a thread about 1998 recruiting, and in that thread there was some discussion about ncaa violations by that staff which led to our being busted.

That led me to consider that as wide open cheating as that staff evidently was, at least the head coach, Mike DuBose, was never stupid enough to be caught on tape discussing buying a player. I am not naive enough to think that cheating doesn't go on all across basketball and football at major college programs, but rarely do you have a head coach involved enough to be caught on tape talking about it.

That was the major point. It's topical as to current events at LSU, and it's relevant to The University of Alabama sports because: 1- LSU is a SEC foe, and 2- The DuBose regime got us in deep trouble, and I think it's reasonable to assume it's going to happen to Will Wade and LSU.

Now, if you don't understand how this is topical and relevant then that's your problem. I am not interested enough in politics to check all that to see if you're also offended about politics on a sports board, of if you feel strongly enough about the ethics of abortion as you do about semantics describing "special needs". And by the way, it's yet ok to describe some people as "special needs" (though eventually that too will be decided to be not PC) but I think it's more correct to refer to Will Wade as retarded. I think it's a damn shame, though, that you use children as pawns to express your personal angst at a topic you don't like, for whatever reason.

Now that we have arrived here, after review of what should be simple and clear to those of us with the capacity to understand dialouge, then what exactly is "this" to which are so seriously offended as to perpetuate this long a thread you claim not to like?

Oh yeah, and that you think posters on a message board should strive to a "pro level" is just silly as all shite.

I see no problem with your post especially when it's like a ghost town around here right now. I even saw you make it relevant to Bama through our very own Mike Dubose. I also don't blame you for not posting it on the rant. The place is terrible. I do very much like Willie Taylor though. He is a moron but when I actually used to read the rant I had a few laughs at his expense. I wouldn't worry about salty fans here. Some folks spend their life looking for reasons to be offended and you apparently gave them one.

Yours is linked through the rivals proxy. For some reason it wasn't working for me. The image it was grabbing it from was also in the link, so I just decoded to the link without the proxy.

Now both work, so must have been a temporary issue.
