What should happen is go back to the BCS matrix…have the top 12 ranked that way. You want in, your SOS matters…wanna get in, prove yourself on the field
Where would Alabama be if this happened?

Yes I do. ACC deserves to be a 1-bid league, and I hope that point is hammered home decisively.

Nah I don’t care about the final score. I want the viewership numbers to be the worst they have ever seen to send a message.

Don’t really care. I’m still fuming over the Vanderbilt loss. I guess I’m old and lived through the era when losing mattered. It’s not Clemson or SMU’s fault Bama lost to freaking Vanderbilt.

The big ten got 4 teams.
Effectively saying they were better and a stronger conference than the sec.
That’s the real problem. Not the ACC

No. They didn't do anything to us.

My first reaction was to want PennSt to blow smu out.
After reconsideration, the Big10 is actively trying to destroy the SEC and Sankey is too dumb to realize this.
Texas and OU don't belong here but because of money Sankey was happy to reward Texas with a pathetic schedule and shaft OU with theirs. This was part of the negotiations to get tejas to the SEC.
BAMA nor Uga will ever have a schedule like Tejas had this season. Fans would riot if BAMA didn't play barn, tenner, lsu. Sankey obviously used a cake schedule to help entice Tejas to the SEC. AND they get the same schedule next season.
All the while the Big10 is a two horse league now that Lanning is at Oregon. PennSt and Indiana have no wins vs ranked teams. Oregon has 3? One of which is Boise (not Big10)? One is their conference championship game? Uga has 4 such wins. And their two losses are to ranked teams. For uga to go undefeated they would've had 6 wins vs ranked teams.
The Big10 has been the biggest winner in conference realignment. Because they absorbed more losers to beat up on (Washington, USC, UCLA, Rutgers, etc.) The SEC picked up two of the most storied programs in the history of college football.
Sure OU was 6-6 this year. But have you looked at their schedule?
Tulane, tenner, barn, Tejas, Carolina, Ole miss, Maine, mizzou, BAMA, lsu? With byes before Tejas and BAMA.
Holy shite. You think Tejas is 11-2 with THAT schedule?
You think PennSt or Indiana win 10 games with that schedule? Oregon?
So not only did sankey reward Tejas with their cake schedule, part of their negotiations had to be to bury OU as well.

After 12 of 13 ESPN "journalists" said SMU should get in over Bama...all but 1 predicts SMU to lose in the first round lol.
Penn St has to get through SMU and Boise St to be in the final 4...all without beating a single top 25 team all season.
That is just insane.

I hope Clemson gets humiliated, I hope SMU wins.
We best fricking Vanderbilt and we are in the playoff.

Whether I want them to or not, it’s going to happen and the committee will look like fools. But yeah, I want to see it happen and frick Dabo for lobbying for that shitty SMU team to make the playoffs because HIS shitty team let them climb back into a game when he had his foot on their neck!

3 turnovers in the first half that BAMA didn't capitalize on.
Milroe missing wide open receivers.
Missed penalties.

I’m doing it solely so the committee will have to imagine what Bama would have done in SMU’s place.
The committee changes every year, so what’s the point?

If Bama played SMU tomorrow, who do you think would be picked to win?
Alabama obviously, but I’m not going to root for rival programs that are actually threatening to Alabama over SMU just to have a gotcha on the committee which doesn’t even stay the same from year to year.
The committee probably doesn’t even make their decisions based on football. They probably weigh how all the stakeholders will react and decide based on that. Our team gave them too many reasons to leave us out.

Yes. ...I'm 100% on the UGa bandwagon for this
AZ st Boise SMu Clemson PSU Indiana can lose 100 to 0 for all I care

Clemson is shite. This is the same bunch that Georgia thumped 34-6 in game one of the season.

Maybe I am being spiteful but I kind of want them to get beaten so badly that it kills the rating for their game and the ACC loses more credibility
I believe you’ll get your wish on both in two weeks.

Great post. Many of our “fans” don’t see the big picture.
