It is not a certain, Boz and I love Jalen, but Tua is better. Tua can run just as well and is a far better passer. He only lacks the snaps.

Clearly nothing is gonna end this debate, but I'll say this. I think Tua's ceiling is higher than Jalen's. You can see Tua getting more and more confident. But Jalen has the experience and is a leader on the team. I'd say Jalen is the better runner, though Tua's ability to run is under rated. They're both good. We have 2 good QBs.

I agree ABDIW... the team also appears to have really good chemistry. Having Jalen and Calvin room together was a really good move by the staff.

I seriously wonder if we will see a Dual-QB system next season.

Yes we do! Great thing to have! We're fortunate!

I'm enjoying the hell out of it instead of fretting over it like some are.

My thing with Tua is he just looks so much more comfortable in the pocket going through his progressions, but like I said earlier it is hard to tell if that is largely due to the situation he's getting reps in.

It really is such a shame all of our QB's on the roster chose to go be backups elsewhere so we couldn't redshirt him.

eta: Also I don't think Saban is afraid to make a change if he deems it necessary. Remember he nearly pulled Blake Sims against Auburn a few years ago when things were going poorly.

Indeed, whatever happens, happens. Let’s just win! Btw Cole Mazza almost beat up a drunk fan.

I felt the same way up u til today.

He went in with 11:00 left in the 3rd quarter. Tua is legit.

I can agree with this. It's one of his strengths. That's the cool thing, each QB compliments the other. Tua is good at some things Jalen isn't and vice versa.

TNA will be the guy next year IMO. We want be able to spam it to ridley next year and we have to spread the ball around. Tua is the guy who can do that. Don't think Sabah can bench Jalen this year as long as he is winning.

This is ALL that needs to be said about every position on the field including QB. Saban plays the guy he thinks gives Bama the best chance to win, period - and I'm fairly certain Saban's earned the right to have us fans trust his judgement.

How about Irv Smith? He looked great today. Opposing coaches are going to add to their scouting report on him after this game.
