On the bright side, Cornbread’s turf toe will have more than enough time to heal..

Baker redshirted so he has a year of eligibility left. However, he graduated this month, hasn't contributed except on the scout team, got suspended for an NCAA violation, and we need room under the 85 limit for the big incoming recruiting class. It seems pretty obvious that he should pack his stuff and leave campus now.

If it was an NCAA drug test, it absolutely carries into next year. The only question is how far into it.

I don’t know what you are asking.
The NCAA has a list of banned substances. If you test positive for one in a test they administer you get a ban. Recreational is half the regular season - 6 games for football. PEDs are a calendar year.
If you are asking if it could be Mary Jane, the answer is yes but those are the rules. Bama does not usually say what it was, so the only conclusion we can draw will be based on the amount of time they miss (unless the players say what they got popped for).

If they're correct, that means PED's. We won't see them again. Zero tolerance by the NCAA on that.
Todd Bates sat out a year for using Ripped Fuel over the Christmas break.

This kinds of changes our TE depth if James is out for a while or a whole year.
He's expected to be in the rotation a lot if Irv turns pro as the receiving TE next season.
That leaves us with Miller Forristall,Major Tennison, Parker plus Jahleel Billingsley as freshmen.
Jahleel seems to be more of a slot TE/Wr type.
Will 3 true TE's be enough for a full season next year?
I had high hopes for James .

Allegably
About as believable as Dabo's claim that ostarine "could come from hair products. It could come from a cream. It could come from protein."

No, it's actually very likely. He tested positive for ephedra, which was in Ripped Fuel at the time.
I believe the only controversy surrounding his positive test was that he claimed to be using an ephedra-free formula. THAT is not super likely, although contamination in the factory is possible. Tests of 58 supplements shortly before the ephedra ban (one year after Bates' suspension) showed that 25% of them contained unlisted ingredients.
Either way, it doesn't matter, as the NCAA doesn't give a shite whether it was intentional or not (and I'm sure it was intentional with Brown, Baker, and James). It's a year off.

No, it’s a stupid theory.
As I said, linking Rolando and Deonte together make zero sense. 10+ years difference in age, different high schools, and completely different backgrounds.
The only thing they have in common is skin color and hometown. And in a town of 55,000 people, it’s pretty obvious that two guys a decade apart and from two different high schools wouldn’t have anything to do with one another.
Signed again, Decatur resident of 23 years
