Parity has made CFB wild. 3 loss CFB team is going to get into the playoffs.
Maybe DeBoer isn’t as bad as everyone makes him out to be.

One call out on roster management….
DeBoer is all about recruiting HS kids and keeping them. I’ve always thought that strategy would be tough in this model of football. Figured it’s all about spending $40MM on players on the field vs equally splitting across the roster.
We will see! Big spenders like OSU, Oregon and Texas have issues. Too many egos?

That is what killed us against rocky top outside of Grubb absolutely going arrogant idiot mode with no gameplan.
However when we are healthy we are hard to beat. We don't suck, we just have an OC who messes up here and there and our QB needs to mature, settle and take what they give him.
So great having Terrence Green back and no one said a word about run defense.

We won that game because of our depth on defense.

DeBoer isn't bad. Heck, I'd say he's a good coach but just not good enough for Bama. We'll never win at a high level if he's here.

If we didn't make every defensive and special teams play we absolutely needed, I'm not sure what we got out of the offense was going to be enough. However, it was improved over the Tennessee game.

OhioSt and OU are both playing with QB2.
But so is Ucla. It isn't the money. It's the player.
DeBoer is great at evaluating HS talent. BAMA hasn't been this talented since 2020 and that squad gave up 40+ points twice.

That’s part of the problem. The lack of depth hurts consistent play.
There is a lack of consistent play across CFB now a days. It’s stupid. Quality of play is wayyyy down.

No, the other team is what stops consistent play. We arent stacking wood. There is another team trying to stop us and it's a game of inches and sometimes the inches dont always go our way.
Even on 1/9/12 (21-0) we had some drives that stalled.
