Cannot wait for it to come back. The SI resort will be at the Rice Mine Road loop close to the Residence Inn across the river

It was always a beautiful venue that got a big crowd. Just poorly managed. Glad to see it come back online.

Cypress Inn was the bomb dot com. Loved that place.

I'm confused.
The SI gonna go in the Cypress Inn location, or somewhere nearby?

I had heard a local guy bought Cypress Inn. Hope it has a strong come back. It was pretty awful the last few years before it closed.

The couple who owned it got divorced and the ex-wife got the business. She didn’t know much about running a restaurant and ran it into the ground.

At least that was the reasoning I’ve heard locally.

Used to eat there all the time when I was little growing up in Mobile. Loved it.

Went to the one in Pensacola as a kid. Even as an adult, that place had bomb chicken fingers. Loved the super cold tin cups too.

It closed a handful of years ago, shame.

That’s the construction they started at the rice mine light and quit after putting the pipes in the ground, right?
