Crowell is a far more complete back than Dear was coming out of high school. Still, missing spring practice and those reps puts Crowell behind the eight ball. If the o line improves this year, it's not out of the realm of possibility for EJ to rush for 6-700 yards.

Yea I think Crowell is a ready now guy vs Dear is a potential guy.

Yeah. Morgan got that look of some of the Saban era dudes who show up looking like they’re in their late 20s like Julio, Reuben Foster, A’shawn Robinson, etc.

The competition in his high school video is laughable and similar to Henry's HS tape.
You can't really count that as "yards after contact" with 140 lbs LBers trying to tackle him.

And Henry ran all over everybody when he got the football here as a freshman. Crowell went for over 300 in the state championship game. He ran all over the Mississippi all stars in that exhibition.
Yards after contact is as much a mindset as physical ability. Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson weren't playing against teams any better than Crowell in High School
