So now we are just waiting on Graham to be officially announced, right?

Hopefully that will be it. But even if Scott leaves (which I hope he doesn't), with Golding's ability to coach LBs & DB, and Roach's ability to coach DL & LBs, Saban will have a huge net to cast, and I have no doubt that he's knock that hire out of the park as well. But hopefully Graham will be the last for this year.

It wouldn't surprise me if Scott passes on the Maryland opportunity.

It would be nice is Karl stuck around for one more year while Gillespie and Graham get the relationships going. Maybe I’m wrong but it always seems like it takes a year or so before coaches really break out and become elite recruiters. But I wouldn’t blame him if he took it.

I agree with what is said here: if Scott leaves, let Golding take over coaching cornerbacks (which he is more familiar with) and find a new position coach for ILBs.

Top choices to replace Golding would obviously be:
-Jeremy Pruitt (if Saban can figure out whether the 'with cause' claim by UT holds up or not);
-Glenn Schumann (he's already co-DC at UGA so I'm not sure what Saban can offer more to sway him, but I sure hope he tries).

JP may be toxic right now. Too much uncertainty. He may have to do NFL for a number of years.

I doubt a co DC will come to Bama as a position coach only. Dont we have analysts like a Sunseri who could be moved up. One I was a QB and the other a S. I think the S one got an onfield job already but he would probably come back.

I don’t think it’s a hard rule of his. Kirby was our DB. coach for at least one year while being our DC, and Muschamp was the DC/DB coach at LSU under Saban. He may prefer it, but I don’t recall him saying that he requires it.

Leave it to Surge... haha.

You’ll get your info, but there’s always passive aggressive repercussion. LOL

I'm amazed at all of the attention and energy wasted reading and posting about the drivel of the idiot on RBR.

Football season is over and we can't spend 30 minutes of wasted energy reading and posting about drivel. Especially demonstratively false drivel. Can't let it stand.
