8 as far as I can tell.

Alaska
Idaho
Maine
Montana
North Dakota
South Dakota
Vermont
Wyoming

Honestly, while not a large pool of talent, I am surprised Bama hasn't pulled some big boys or cowboys with skills out of the Dakotas, Montana or Wyoming at some point in its history.

Unfortunately, Alabama was not undefeated during the regular season in ‘72. I was there at Legion Field. It was beyond shocking. AU was like a HS team compared to Alabama. 300+ yds to ~80. When they kicked the FG to make it 16-3 with ~9 min left, the Alabama fans were upset because the line was 16, not because they thought it would have any effect on the outcome of the game. We thought Shug was just trying to avoid a shutout. IMO, probably true.

That would be the only ray of light for AU for a while, as Alabama would go on a 9 game win streak to assuage its rage at the loss. Kinda like now: Alabama threw 2 pick 6s (instead of 2 blocked punt TD returns) to ridiculously lose by 3 in 2019 and is now hopefully in the midst of a 12+ game win streak over the program who hasn’t had a winning season in 6 years.

They let some fool or a bot post all weekend on the rant.

A few troublemakers have popped up here in the last week or so.

Assuming the 2028 class ends up as stacked as 2025 and 2026, and that appears to very much be in play right now, hopefully people will begin to understand why 2027 is a small and relatively inexpensive class.

I wouldn't put it past teams to team up on our guys to try and break the class.

Agree to offer up more money for one or two of our top recruits per school.

Those two will be huge, add Kioni Snipes, and that alone would be a strong in state class, but we are set for big haul in state

Corporate sponsorship of fields is bad enough. Is there ever going to be a point at which these greedy fricks fly too close to the sun and alienate enough people that it resets everything because the money all dries up?

I’m doing my part. I’ve had a Chase account for 15 years and 3 credit cards.

Cancelling them all and moving my money to a different bank. It’s a drop in the bucket to them but it’s what I can do.

I was sincerely hoping we’d hold out and not do this hokey bullshite but at around 17m a year there’s no way we’re not going to.

It’s really sad but I’m getting dangerously closer to just finding a new hobby
