Bama is in good position to land CJ Dippre. Bama is being aggressive in portal this year. Last year, they waited little too late in transfer portal, so they're attacking it early. We likely will hear names of Transfer candidates in coming days as well.

Is there a player in next years class with the last name Ricks? I think we need to make it an annual tradition to take someone named Ricks from LSU.

As trepidatious as Bama has been in the portal so far, I'd assumed they were playing their cards to flip a TE before taking a transfer.
tOSU's TE can return for another season, but he might declare. He's a former OLB that made the switch to TE and had a decent year. Their backup is also graduating, so they can probably pitch as much playing time.
I'd like to think he's Bama's if they want him, schematically he's probably a little more plug and play coming from a similar system.
