It was a tweet from Zyan Gibson basically saying he wants his Bama class to be the best in history and he included some graphics showing how Bama is DBU.

If this site makes you so miserable why hang around? Just curious but your post are mostly negative and/or depressing.
I for one want great DL but we have had our share of great defenders that were not 5 stars coming out of HS. IN the end can only take the guys that want to be here.

I would rather have those 3-star guys out of HS like Dareus, Hightower, Womack, B Jones, etc. that show up every practice and game with their lunch pale and a chip on their shoulder. Those guys got multiple titles while at UA being part of classes that were not star studded across the board like later classes who most only won 1 title while they were here.
I believe our HC players like playing for him and I have faith he will develop guys for what he needs. But if you would like to have the BJ Scott and T love players of the world because of their ranking out of HS go for it because I want the kids that come in and have something to prove. The kid that will bleed for the name on their jersey not the kid that that is all about the money. And yes, they put in the work they will get paid but way too many of these 5-star recruits want to get paid for their potential that is not a guarantee. Ask a&m how that worked out for them.

Hey, that's a nice story you're trying to sell there, fella. If you would like to pretend that NIL would have no effect on where guys like Ingram, Julio, Hightower, Upshaw et al decided to play CFB if it had existed then, knock yourself out. I prefer not to live in fantasy land.
