I think he was trying to say he didn't show up in Tuscaloosa for the Iron Bowl.

Maybe.

Doesn't stop there. Sometimes you just let them go back to Iowa for Spring training then take them back

Honestly, I'd like to see the new UM billionaire fund steal him from tOSU just for the melt of the Buckeyes

JMO but Hugh and the barn high dollar folks will spend whatever it takes this year to buy any player they can actually buy. Hugh has to get to 9 wins including a Bowl or Jimbo Fisher takes the keys.

Not really. Harsin did it right. Get a sucker AD at a desperate school to give you a contract with a $50+ million buyout and then proceed to not give a f@ck while living it up. Honestly, I doubt any coach sweats any of this as much as the average fan.

Joe Middle class gets fired...wife asks how they're going to pay the mortgage.

Joe Head Coach gets fired and the wife asks how long will their Mediterranean villa be booked for.

We joke but Day is gone if they don’t win it all. No coming back after spending 2+ mil and losing to Michigan again

The exodus from Columbus will make what we experienced seem relatively mild.

And Michigan wasn't anything spectacular this year. And they lost at home to them

If Franklin wasn't a complete melter under pressure he would have beaten them, too.

I don't know about them firing Day if they don't win it all. That roster and what would happen to it if that happened would have the decision makers think twice.

If he gets the John Cooper deal he can lose to UM six more times before they fire him.

It's not solely about this year, it's about him choking every season he's been there and being 1-4 vs Michigan. His best shot was vs UGA in the semi, but he choked that one away too.

But this season he had the most expensive, most talented, hand-picked roster in CFB and has two losses in a weak conference, one against a 5-6 Michigan team at home.

Definitely justified in firing his arse, especially if they make an early playoff exit.
