Lotzier can really jump and scoot. He is a future star for sure. Need one more like him.

Are we really going to start asking recruits about their status after every loss? If anything he sees the shite product our QB put out and is like "yeah I'm definitely better than this guy, they need me" and sees a clearer path to starting.

I somehow grow to despise the state of CFB weekly

It's sort of a microcosm of the rest of society. It's a mess... putting it mildly.

Can't believe Offord is going to end up at Auburn.

What are we looking like at DL and LB next year? Is anyone else not concerned about this?

I can. With the way this season has gone and AU losing hardly anybody from this class that they have even after seeing the product on the field I 100% can believe it. We better brace ourselves and hope/wish DeBoer keeps what we have and can develop them. If Freeze ever learns how to coach we are in serious trouble

We've done well recruiting LBs, but non-existant for DL. We will need to hit the portal for multiple DL. I don't know why the staff hasn't recruited that position as hard

Just looked at 247 recruiting class. The Top 14 players in the state are going to Auburn (10) or OSU (2). 2 are uncommitted and leaning elsewhere. We have #15. WTF?

Not enough time for DeBoer & Morgan to establish relationships last off-season. I would suspect that trend reversing going forward.

That is simply unacceptable. The Bama name alone should yield better in state results. I know Bama is more of a national brand than auburn and we recruit coast to coast, but we need to sign 3 of the top 5 players in-state every single year.

Meh.

This year is an anomaly.

We're signing the #1 ranked players from the state of California, Texas and Florida.

We'll be fine.

What we don't know is the amount of money YellaFella U is paying them to sign.

Money is all that matters anymore. All schools are the same.

Hope I'm wrong but I don't think we hold on to Haywood & DeBose. Having said that Carroll seems like he'll be the best of the bunch and Lloyd is no slouch either.

You're going to be even more upset when you find out that the #1 guy is about to flip from OSU to AU.

Agreed completely on finding at least one, preferably two good defensive linemen. Not Edge rushers, DE-DT types. The trouble is, in the portal, there aren't very many good ones. There are/will be a few but not many. Most are just decent but not that great and signing some guy who's a warm body is a waste of a spot.

Considering how we're losing all 3 of the guys who took almost all of the ILB snaps (Campbell, Lawson, Jefferson), we need a really good to great ILB. I know we have a lot of young guys but having a good one from the portal with game experience would be very helpful.

Freeze has been recruiting the state for years and has these in state relationships with High School coaches built. Deboer doesn't have any of that yet...
