If tweet fails to load, click here. Has he been on campus really at all since Saban retired?

Not really, but I'm glad he's on campus. He's looked good the last 2 weeks.

I wouldn't have minded losing him if Saban hadn't retired because guys like him just never did much for us under Saban, but an offensive minded coach could turn him into a monster.

I would like to go ahead and tamper with Peter Woods like we did with Miami(OH) kicker

Woods is a perfect fit for the Wommack’s 4-2-5. Great Bandit.

The glitch was on one recruits profile. He was ranked so high he jumped their class to #1 overall by like 4,000 points.
Must have been Alphose Prevail's kid. Need to PM Kingpin to confirm.

We offered a 2025 DB from Tupelo, MS, yesterday. He is currently committed to Ole Miss.
Maison Dunn

4-star CB Maison Dunn — Ole Miss commit
New On300 Ranking: No. 141
Previous On300 Ranking: Unranked 3-star
School: Tupelo (Miss.)
Scout’s Take: “Maison Dunn is a tall, highly-physical corner. One who we were excited by his film. He’s over 6-foot-2, 180 pounds; has elite length for the position and hits like a Mack Truck. He has also turned in very strong performances against Power 4 signees as a junior. Watching his game film along with learning more about his physical traits, we felt like he had the look of a surefire blue-chip corner and one who we like inside the On300.” — Charles Power, Director of Scouting and Rankings

For the LSU guys, between the NIL and what you and your family have to mentally sacrifice to say I want to be led by Brian Kelly and put my future in his hands means it will be a tough job landing any of those guys.

Hoping Turbo liked what he saw this weekend.

It's honestly almost impressive how he keeps convincing kids to sign up to be corndogs regardless of NIL. There is literally nothing likeable about him. Nothing.

You really think he can play LB?

Most of the recruiting is done by your position coach and area recruiter. Your very high level recruits the head coach might be more active, but it’s kind of like a “closer” situation.
But the recruiting wins are all about those assistants and their relationships. And those guys sell the kids on Brian Kelly and the program.

I trust the staff, don't think they would take a guy not committed to the position.

Sure, but Kelly has a very long and well established track record of losing 2-3 games every year, blaming the players for it, and just kind of being an incredibly disingenuous a-hole in general. He gives off so much of that energy it's readily apparent every time he opens his mouth for 5 minutes, and all those croots have to interact with him on some level. They aren't meeting him for the first time at their first team meeting or anything.

I agree. But these kids are generally narcissistic and the coaches feed on that by saying “you’ll be the one to put us over the top”.
Like if you’re Bryce Underwood you’re not thinking “Brian Kelly has never won anything of significance at the D1 level and only has one 1st rd qb and that guy was a transfer who was already fairly well developed” because you’re just used to dominating in highschool and you think you’ll be different.
So when Kelly throws Nuss and every other player under the bus they think “wow I can come in and get that job and I’m great so he’ll never save his own arse by dragging me in public”
It’s dumb but that seems to be how it works.

I suppose I am looking at it through the eyes of an adult and not an idiot teenager. Still doesn't excuse the parents not stepping in and pointing out how much of an absolute shithead Kelly is though. A bunch of them just care about NIL unfortunately. I think in some cases even more than the kids themselves since they've known poverty for longer.

Four takeaways from Deuce Knight, Akylin Dear, Mississippi talent in action
quote:
Four-star Quitman (Miss.) High running back Akylin Dear passes the eye test at 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds. Dear fills out his frame well and truly differentiates himself with his combination of burst and speed out of the backfield. Dear didn't have many break-away runs in his senior season debut, but impressed with his physical running style and ability to create yardage on his own.
Dear invites contact and is a devastating cutter in space and in short areas. The Alabama-bound running back is tough enough to absorb hits as well as dish them out and showed off his prowess running through contact. As a receiver out of the backfield and as a kickoff returner, Dear was twitchy moving with the ball in his hands, shrugging off would-be tacklers, and is a massive weapon assisting in pass protection as well.
