I believe an Alabama fan created an account over there and made that thread.

I dunno. Hard to distinguish satire from reality when it comes to Auburn fans as I personally know many like that dude...

I was told Alabama was in trouble without Nick Saban because they didn't have $$$

I just revisited comments on Instagram, Facebook and Reddit from Washington and AU fans and predictably, rather than taking the L like men, they're digging an even deeper hole:

"He won't win with those players."

"Let's see how he recruits after coaching a full season."

"LOL Recruiting will bomb after he loses 4 games next year".

I didn't bother responding. I'm going to revisit the posts at the end of the season to see which direction they move the goal posts next.

I think 2024 Alabama is going to be a playoff contender and in the 2nd tier group of betting favorites for the national title behind OSU and UGA.

This is still the 3rd most talented roster in college football at worst and he took UDub to the national title game (and had a shot to tie it up or take the lead midway in the 4th) with a bunch of transfers and 3-stars. He's got a new level of consistent week-to-week competition in the SEC but I don't get why people expect him to go 7-5.

Rival fans are so hung up on Alabama losing three or four games this year. Where do they get this information from ? Reeks of jealousy and hatred.

The schedule is hard as hell and it would've been tough for Saban to navigate it without 2 losses. So I get it but Alabama will still be the more talented team in 11 of 12 games and gets the 1 team with purely more roster talent at BDS.

They'll just keep kicking the can further down the road to another prediction that can't be verified for 6 months. By then it will be something else.

Agreed. The media is making them out to be 2005 USC. They have a very good team but Alabama is not afraid of them.

"Dude is legitimately showing you guys he's Harsin 2.9 with his every move and you guys refuse to see it"

LOL. I'd be curious to know what moves those were that made this person think that.

No one expects him to go 7-5 they *hope* he goes 7-5.

Earlier some one was discussing the lack of Turbo’s social reactions to the frostbite that’s happening maybe indicating he’s looking to jump off the A Train(coming in like Coors Lite). In the same sense Lockett seems to publicly enjoy it when the good guys get a win.

They don’t get the benefit of playing the bullshite SEC East schedule anymore. Were about to see how good they are when Kirby has to focus on more than 2 games a year

Sounds a lot like the sentiments they were echoing when Saban was hired

2017: wouldn't have taken us down had Tua started over Hurts.

2019: wouldn't have taken us down if Tua wasn't injured.

2021/2023: "Should have taken them down..." and Alabama "should have taken AU down" in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2017 and 2019...

Just remember, Freeze had one legit win over Bama in 2014. That 2015 game was Bama fricking around by starting Bateman over Coker, the miracle deflection touchdown, the wtf dropped pass on the final drive, the fumble on the opening kickoff, three interceptions, etc.

Our class not living up to expectations so far. We're 8th in SEC right now. Ouch.

I mean have they all just kind of forgotten that a big reason Freeze recruited so far above expectations at OM was the fact that they were paying everyone, which is legal to do now? Their class looks like a pretty typical Gustav class right now and honestly I think that's pretty much their ceiling in terms of talent acquisition 9 years out of 10. Their fans will just never accept that Auburn is now like the 8th or 9th biggest "brand" in the SEC. They won't get cut when the superconference that forms the basis of NFL-lite is started, but they'll be that conference's Jaguars.
