Hell yeah. Damn recruiting slowed to a crawl. Real excited if Keeley comes through. If Downs sticks and Keeley commits that is a hell of a 1-2 punch on defense in this class.

Downs and Keeley are huge gets, but like to see us pull some top shelf DL as well. We haven’t been dominant up front in some time.

Unfortunately we already lost out on Hobbs and Woods unless some flippage happens. I would like to see Bama pull a few 5 star interior D lineman as well although I think Renaud is going to be awesome.

My good friend is friends with JQ Hardaway’s dad. He text me last night showing me where he entered the transfer portal. JQ’s dad said that he would be coming to the SEC and that Saban was supposedly pressing on him hard. I believe the kid moved the Central PC for his senior year. I know Georgia and Tennessee were looking at him hard before he went to Cincy.

We need more top DL guys, for sure. That being said, Renaud is elite. Many have been saying this for a while, but he somehow continues to be overlooked. Rodney mentioned the other day that sources from several other top programs have admitted that they mis-evaluated him last year and lamented that they waited too late to get in on him. He should be a national top 30-40 prospect at least.
We do need Smith a lot, though. And really hoping for a late push on Hall. Bain would also be nice.

Guarantee is probably to strong but Luckie has been to Bama 5 times since committing to UGA. If he wasn't a Georgia legacy he would likely be in Bama's class. No one would be shocked if he sticks with UGA but I don't think anybody would be surprised if he flips either. With UGA already having Spurlin committed adding Walker might be enough for him to pull a trigger on a flip.

Luckie was meeting with CNS sometime between 12:30 and 12:55. Bamaonline tweeted out the elephant meme indicating we got a commitment at 1:17. Then Bone said they didn't expect anything to come out for 48 hours or so. You had three on campus from this cycle at the time that are most likely. Luckie. Keeley, and Carter (Smith and Russaw are not likely to commit). I think Sterling Dixon (2024) was also there and is announcing in a couple of days.
My guess is that Luckie flipped and wanted to let UGA know, then to announce. But it could well have been Keeley, Carter, or Dixon.

Rumor from a poster on TI that barn is going to offer Hurley, Mitchell, Collins, and the 2 Carver kids $2 million each to sign in December. I felt sure they would buy the Carver 2 but hopefully not the others.
