Ole Miss biggest offseason win was the 24 schedule not having Bama on it. They do have to play UGA, though.
Let’s see if they can make the top 2 and go to ATL. No more divisions.
I guess they can still make the playoffs regardless of making the SEC title game now. It’s going to be fun next year but really weird.

I'm just joking by the way, but the Purdue people do believe it is NIL related and that is with a significant NIL package already in place for him. TAMU or Colorado look like options.

It is definitely sad to see STARTERS using the portal… I can understand kids seeking playing time, but starters who enter the portal? Come on.

It’s always been a minor league for the NFL but what has changed now is that G5 teams and lower P5 teams are now the farm system for bigger CFB programs.
The immediate transfer rule is the biggest issue imo. It should have never changed. With how much money players are making it shouldn’t be deemed as “unfair” anymore. It would solve many problems. There are rules put in place in every sport that would be deemed “unfair” but it’s called competitive balance. Rules have to be put in place to protect the sport.
If a head coach leaves or you graduate you can immediately transfer. Otherwise you have to sit a year…but nope the NCAA caved to the public pressure by the politically correct media and changed a rule that was fine.

Thanks, I wasn't contesting if Bama were in on him just wasn't sure that pic was recent or from 2021. The article didn't mention if Saban visited him recently as far as I can tell.
