Historically Auburn is a better job than ole miss. I wouldn't say much better unless you have cam Newton. Otherwise without him they are pretty much the same program wise.

Alabama is looking in good shape for WR Amari Jefferson on Saturday.

Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. also has a commitable offer. He is expected to choose Alabama on August 18th.

I'm curious to hear what people think of his tape. Nothing really stood out to me when watching it, but maybe he has performed really well at camps?

Bama has had eight first round receivers under Saban and a Heisman winning receiver. What has Freeze done with receivers that comes close to that?

Finally found a stat on Twitter...
quote:

Nick Saban has had 8 WR’s drafted in the 1st Round of the NFL Draft

Hugh Freeze has had 7 WR’s Ever Drafted in All 7 Rounds of the NFL Draft

ETA: Someone in the comments of that tweet added some more guys to Saban's list:
quote:

Hang on. Let’s add up Sabans first round WRs.
1. Plaxuco Burris. Michigan St
2. Dwayne Bowe. LSU
3. Michael Clayton. LSU
4. Amari Cooper
5. Julio Jones
6. Calvin Ridley
7! Henry Ruggs
8. Jaylen Waddle
9. Devonte Smith
10. Jeudy
11. Ridley
12. Jamo.

Camp standout. Expected to play safety. Comparisons to Shyheim Carter.

Based off of film Kirkpatrick Jr is not a Bama guy. I could be wrong tho.

He just got an offer so that could change. Not saying he will I don’t have any intel, but I won’t be surprised if we get him.

I live in Chattanooga. Didn’t even know he was out there. I’ll have to check him out.

Imagine stacking Sayin, MacIntyre, and Lewis in consecutive classes.

Hell yeah they gonna have Ryan Williams and Jamie Ffrench to throw to…. This 24 class is gonna be real good but the 25 class is gonna be scary good. I wish Ryan Williams could reclassify.

Will you link the film? Or are you talking about a few minutes of clips you’ve seen?

If they're all as good as we think we're going to have some transfers

That is to be expected. Just the nature of the position. Especially now days. But having that kind of talent in consecutive classes still sets a program pretty well.

Steve Pierre Bolo Mboumoua has reclassified to the 2024 class.

He's that Canadian defensive terror we offered a few weeks ago.

I wonder if Ryan Williams is planning to reclassify. I heard rumors that he was taking summer classes in order to do it. Would be great.

The difference though is Nkemdiche was never committed to UA or ever listed UA as his leader. To many supposed insiders assumed UA was going to get him because of his HS coach but that was never the case.

Yes there were rumors about him getting teammates scholarships but that had more to do with him and Clemson after he decommited from there and upset fans that thought Clemson offered some package deal.
