I think he'd be a nice addition, but I won't be upset if he picks FSU. After getting Amos, who at the very least will provide depth at CB after losing Fegans to the portal, I feel pretty good about our DBs.

I think some combo of Moore/Downs/Story at the Safety spots and some combo of Moore/Little/Downs at Star could be pretty good if we're looking at Kool-Aid/Arnold/Little/Amos at CB.

Moore/Little/Downs at Star

From what I have read Little has locked down the Star position. We'll see if that translates to Saturdays this Fall.

I think he could be a serious weapon at Star.

That leaves Moore and Downs at Safety? I feel for Story in that case, but that lineup seems like it'd have a lot of potential.

If Moore reverts back to freshman Moore, but even stronger, faster, and more experienced, then he can be an all-American. He was one of our best defenders in 2020.

Hyatt burned us because our safety had cement blocks for feet

Hyatt continued to burn us because our DC didn’t adapt to help him out

Hyatt is going to burn any player if he has a ten yard running start coming towards them. Cant blame the safety.

True, after first TD, dumb arse Golding should have put a DB to bump him off line of scrimmage and roll a safety or another DB over the top. Football 101.

Hyatt ran a 4.40, not a 4.3. A safety has more than enough time to adjust to a streak and understand he has to cover deep. Especially when it was the same play multiple times. But the crux is that both battle and Hellams ran 4.55+, so we didn’t have a safety with range that couldn’t be exploited.

Bumping would’ve helped but even a simple change in coverage for the safeties would’ve limited the damage. We had an egregious issue being exploited and didn’t adapt to it

You act as if he running a streak every time.

A decent pass rush, not getting 100 self-inflicted penalties compared to horrendous no calls (Bryce being speared), decent OL play, etc.

Lots of things could have gone better and it was still Bama's game to win in the end. Unusual missed FG.

It is what it was.

Excited for the season

It took everything for Tennessee to win that game and Alabama still should have won it. A dropped pass and missed field goal at the end did Alabama in.

Alabama played a D+ game, Tennessee played a A+ game and had the refs and Alabama still should have won the game.

Sounds like we will likely add Key around Noon today. Hopefully nothing has changed in the last few days on that front.

Wow, the Fall camp battles for the DBs are going to be spicy.

Should be a good distraction from the QB battle
