Curious how sites will evaluate '25 Saraland QB KJ Lacey, especially since Bama offered now and Tennessee too.

Bama could easily go:

2024-Julian Sayin
2025-KJ Lacey
2026-Juju Lewis
2027-Trent Seaborn

Miami coach to Julian Sayin - LINK

"This is a lifetime. Who doesn't want to be in Miami? This ain't Tuscaloosa. Where Sunday and Saturdays might be great, but you're still in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. No offense to them, but this is Miami. "

The look on Sayin's face.

Lol. Evidently that coach didn’t get the memo that all Sayin cares about is winning and being developed for the NFL. That party shite won’t work with him.

They’re done. Only thing that may happen is a transfer or two both in and out of program after spring

will they manipulate the rankings to the point that bama doesn't get number 1?

All the recruiting services have done their final rankings for 2023, not that it matters but Bama is number one regardless. There are only like a dozen blue chippers unsigned and even fewer not committed at this point (I am kind of shocked that 247 has around 430 4 and 5 stars this year, it is usually around 330). UGA couldn't catch Bama even if they signed both 5 star TE Duce Robinson and Walker Lyons and all signs point to neither one of them committing to anyone anytime soon.

Bama class of 2023 is done, outside of transfers after new guys go into the portal after spring practice.

On to the class of 2024.

ETA: Walker Lyons committed to USC but he also plans on completing a mission for his church so their is no guarantee he ends up there after his 2 years.

Not for Saban it isn't. If you can't block you aren't getting a ton of snaps outside of garbage time and cupcakes. I can't think of the last true freshman RB that was a major contributor. Maybe Najee?

Hey guys this is pure speculation in my part and is just a question. There is a 5star TE who is delaying his decision today until he can make his mind up. Alabama is/was recruiting him and is listed on his list of offers. Is it possible that he could be waiting to see who Alabama hires as OC or has that shipped sailed?

Thanks to his efforts at both Alabama and Colorado, coaching veteran Charles Kelly is the 247Sports National Recruiter of the Year.

Is this going to be like Jalen Hurts & Bama is not suppose to claim him even though he recruited more for Bama than Colorado?

Charles Kelly is the 247Sports National Recruiter of the Year thanks to his Alabama and Colorado efforts

quote:

The 247Sports National Recruiter of the Year for 2023 is Charles Kelly, who helped two programs secure five-star prospects this class.

For Alabama where he was associate defensive coordinator/safeties coach, it was leading the charge in the Crimson Tide’s efforts to secure a signature from top-ranked safety Caleb Downs over other suitors Ohio State and Georgia, or beating Auburn and Florida among others for 247Sports Composite five-star teammates in defensive lineman James Smith and linebacker Qua Russaw. He was integral in helping identify and pushing for outside linebacker Yhonzae Pierre well before he was crowned with five-star status.

quote:

Now at Colorado where he is Deion Sanders' defensive coordinator, Kelly got there in time and was integral in the flip of top-ranked cornerback Cormani McClain from Miami who opted not to sign with the Hurricanes during the three-day Early Signing Period beginning on Dec. 21, opening the door for Sanders and Kelly and the rest of the staff to make a move.
