I imagine we're preparing for the possibility of guys hitting the portal (e.g., Calhoun).

ETA: Also, remember that scholarship limits are increasing for next year, so you'll likely see teams taking more flyers on JuCo guys.

He’s going to play for Louisville. He heard the play at Papa John’s Stadium and his big arse thought the field is a big pizza

He barely played at Colorado.

There will be better options in the portal.

Would love to know what happened with him. Did all that work to drop the weight and then seems to quit.

He’s from super rural Mississippi. Sometimes kids like that can’t sustain success because they have no template for it. He seemed to flourish under Saban and that was maybe a voice that worked for him.

Was never going to work at Colorado because Deion is just a press conference with a whistle

He might not do a whole lot his freshman year but this kid is going to be very special.

I am talking about Ezavier Crowell.

Ford is a good pickup, guy has a lot of upside.
His blocking is pretty violent on his game tape, much needed.

One thing is for sure. This staff loves signing QBs who are winners. Tons of state champions among our QB signees. Even multi-year.

His Freshman year Russell will be a Junior. He’ll have the 2 QBs from this class and hopefully Elijah Haven in the qb room as well.

He does, but he’s tall so it isn’t as bad. Rivers notoriously throws a lot like this but he’s 6’5” and knew where he wanted to go with it.

If Haven was a few inches shorter I’d be a lot more worried. I also think DeBoer/Grubb could work on it with him. Penix mechanics got a lot better from his early years
