Where’s Hightower in this conversation? He and McLain were co-number 1s in Saban’s LB legacy. If not for that knee injury he might have surpassed McLain.

CJ is my favorite Bama linebacker of all time. And it looks like DeBoer can recruit after all. And all 5 commits that have happened since him arriving are all on the defensive side of the ball. I say lookout Kirby and the rest of SEC if he can recruit because his 104-12 record says he can coach with the best.

No cute nicknames, that's some Auburn shite

I was just making an observation.

If I were shooting for a cute nickname, I would have at least made it rhyme. Like the Mater Dei Trey or something stupid like that. :

I think he’s the best linebacker of the Saban era when considering full resume college and pro.

I got to know Lemanski Hall when our sons played football together. You will not meet a finer representative for Alabama! I believe he was also a captain of that team.

Ro McClain was a different breed.

He could fill gaps, crazy football IQ, extremely quick/fast, could spy quarterbacks, thump you, and play man to man coverage.

CJ, Hightower, and Reuben were good but their not in the same tier as Ro McClain.

McClain was 6'5, 265 and ran a 4.56 forty lol. He also ran down Demps and Rainey (Florida Scat Backs) (Track & Field Champions) multiple times sideline to sideline.

Ro would be my first pick at ILB. He was one of a kind.

Daniels nearly fell out of his seat when Ro beat Demps and Rainey to the sidelines that day.

Hate it he couldn't get away from the idiots he grew up with, and wasted his nfl career. Hopefully he has some money set aside to live on from being drafted top ten.

Hightower made multiple huge SB plays but Mosely has him beat for overall career accolades. Mosley was a 2x consensus 1st team All-American and a 5x All-Pro in the NFL

He’s Bama bound…Andrew Bone and Steve Wiltfong also put a crystal ball in for him to Bama.

He should get a bump, but not because he's going to commit to us. Anyone who watches that highlight video and thinks he's a 3* doesn't know what he's looking at.

Demarion Caffey 3* LB on Twitter says he has committed to Alabama. I don’t get this social media stuff too well but it was reposted by Drew Dearmand. Anyone know anything about this he doesn’t show up on any of the boards?
