I mean I can’t remember the last time a running back came in that wasn’t a freshman. Literally can’t think of one. Just can’t see his situation being any different than past history.

He would be coming in with a redshirt year, so by the time he could see the field he'd actually be on track if he stuck, but you are right that it's definitely a long shot.

I'd definitely rather bring in a true freshman than use a scholarship on a transfer running back. Especially, an unproven kid.

Oh well...... can’t get em all. Hate that but we getting elite players at positions of need so I guess Saban gets a pass on this one

Clay wants it kept secret until he announces, so maybe asked the coaches to not leak anything. Tim truly may not know. And if he does, he won't spoil Webb's moment. But he did say he might post a prediction tomorrow morning. Tim and Hank CBd Webb to Bama in April and have not changed their CBs.

Now that is definitely true, backs tend to transfer out not in at Bama . We get Sanders and an elite back to pair with Roydell and it won't matter much.
