The insider TS & I quoted has legit connections.

I agree. I like him and see him fitting our schemes. He just posted that he was back in Tuscaloosa yesterday. I have trouble thinking he will go somewhere else or the staff sending him packing when he is in town.

Saban only encourages players that receive 1st round grades to jump to the NFL. Not sure Jacobs is a first rounder.

If Jacobs does jump, Bama has to take 2 RB in this class. You would only have N Harris, Robinson and Ford on the roster.

D Harris and Clark are seniors.

Have Chef or Kinglaw (Reuben's uncle) weighed in recently, by any chance?

Jacobs coming back would be awesome for next year's offense, but it really doesn't make sense as a rb to give up a top 2-3 round grade and put more wear on your body in college. I suspect several pro decisions depend on how these playoffs go, a Natty and we probably see more go than a loss in the semi's or champ game.

Kinglaw posted this early this morning:

I agree K Thibodeaux probably will be in this class! Also starting to lean toward Webb also. Just from information I feel is right. I’m the type to never believe until I see it. That’s why I can’t share everything I hear, but I had to put it out there. Minds can change though.

A guy I know sent me some highlights of one of his players from Guntersville. He'll be in the Class of 2025.

I know the staff views Bowles highly, but if Webb does in fact come, is he or Dalcourt the one who would go?

given jacobs family situation, i'm guessing he goes pro regardless of a 1st round projection or not. now i say that not knowing if his family has done better since he entered bama. from the story about his family, i'm thinking even 3rd round money would be like hitting the lottery. but again, i'm nt in the know, just guessing.

Here's Rivals Mike Farrell pontificating on best recruiters he has seen.

Thinks Urban is better than Saban even though Saban has won 7 recruiting titles to Urban's One. Why? Because Urban is better with in-home visits.

It’s because Urban has dreams and Saban doesn’t.

After reading that, I honestly will never take anything he says seriously. His reasoning and explanation is laughable.

Concerning Webb, the Retterman guy on Twitter (always been very legit) commented on Webb saying something like "it's very close" with a wink on the end.

I'd have to believe it would be Dalcourt.

Bowles took a photo with a bunch of recruits this past summer... he made Webb and everyone else in the photo look small. Dude has a great frame, and his reel is impressive also. He's 6'5" and is going to be a bigger OL than Webb.

I have felt all season that Bama might be 50-60 pounds light across the OL this past season, and we saw that lack of physicality at times. (3 OT's on the field)

Once the 350# Brown joined the OL all of a sudden we could move some asses at the point of attack. I no longer want any small OL. Bama took a lot of them a few years ago, and I don't think any of them panned out.

Dalcourt is similar to Webb in size so if Webb joins on, and somebody has to go Dalcourt is the only one that makes sense to me, but then again his reel is impressive. I've not been able to find any film for Webb Sr season. (anyone know where to find it ?)

Kight, Neal, Quick, and Bowles are all big guys that can move, and I hope Bama keeps them all.

I like Keilan Robinson reel a lot. I went back and tried to find a way to not like it once it became clear he may go elsewhere, but I couldn't. He's a smaller back, but he's still powerful, and he's really shifty. Great hands out of the backfield. He'd be a great back to pair with Sanders. If Bama continues to develop the Patriots O that creates a lot of touches for the backs in the passing game Robinson would be scary IMO.

I like all the DB's, and hope Bama keeps them all.

Metchie is the headscratcher in this class IMO.

I’d trust the evaluation of Josh Gattis on it.
