Still, his presence in Athens on Saturday loomed large, and he looked to be plenty pleased post-game with the results. He's a cornerstone in the class, and Georgia has focused recruiting efforts toward him in a major way even with him being committed.

“I think he flips to Alabama. That’s everything I’ve heard. A lot of people think it’s already a done deal that he’s going to do that. I don’t think it’s advantageous. Both programs are great. Both programs would probably use him the same way and he’s going to be successful no matter what.

“Alabama is going to close really strong. It is the best team in the country and always in the top two or three when it comes to recruiting. Last year was a bit of an anomaly, so I think it’ll finish first this year and get a bunch of five-stars to close things out.”

Bogle was asked about the Hurricanes' current four-game losing streak and if that has changed his outlook on the program. He said that a team's current form certainly will factor into his decision, but wins and losses aren't exactly viewed as a positives or negatives.

"It's a little bit of both because like if the team is winning I know I can go in and contribute a little bit and we will be more effective, but if a team is not winning I feel like I can come in and just compete and help the team win."

Bogle then went on to share his thoughts about Crimson Tide after spending the weekend in Tuscaloosa. "It was great," he said of the visit. "I enjoyed it. My player host was Mack Wilson so we talked. His story and my story are similar to each other's so it was good. He was in the same position as I am today. He liked a lot of schools and it came down to the last minute. So will mine."

Bogle is scheduled to announce a commitment during the All-American Bowl on Jan. 5 in San Antonio. He will then sign with the school of his choice during February's traditional National Signing Day. "It's the biggest stage and everybody in the world will get to see me commit," he said.

The 247Sports Crystal Ball currently reads 86 percent in favor of the Hurricanes with Alabama, Tennessee and Louisville also holding picks from recruiting experts.
