I like that list, I can't believe they are talking about Auburn challenging us and UGA beating with quite a few less players. I have faith in Saban

Brandon Turnage took Bama out of his twitter bio. Recruits usually do this right before publicly decommitting

Was hoping he would hold on but practically everyone said it was coming. Best of luck to him.

But has he seen the mascot?? Lmao

Just a heads up ole miss will go down again, they are back up to their old tricks. It’s on a smaller scale but give it a couple years and it will be full blown. Bjork was the problem before and he is still there.. you will see more of it like before. After the slap on the wrist they feel untouchable. All it did was make them do it smarter and cover it up better. The booster money they got during that run was worth it to them. They didn’t over impress on the field but the boosters pockets opened up. They collected a shite ton, that’s why Bjork didn’t go down. He was patted on the back instead by everyone up there and told to just do it smarter.

Anyone have a feeling on who we might finish this class with? MS boys have always been flaky, so I'm not sold on Turnage or Young being in this class. Losing 1 or both would bump us back to 19 or 20 commits.
I'd like to think we close with some sort of combination of

RB Sanders
DL Sopsher
WR Robinson
OL Webb
OL Wright and/or Neal
DE Thibodeaux
LB Dean
S Hill
DL Ika/ Sorrells/ Tuitele

Most of these guys could be added if a grayshirt or 2 is handed out and that is always a possibility.

I think Byron Young will sign with Bama. Rashad Cheney will likely end up elsewhere.

Why do think Young will not be in this class, because he is from Miss.?

Are Sorrells and Ika both takes? If so, it looks like we'll end up with 7 DL since I think we land Sopsher and Cheney will look elsewhere.

I doubt Bama takes more than 6 DL. 5 is probably more likely than 7.

I think we end up with

Sopsher
Alfano
Young
Eboigbe
Ika or Sorrells
Dale

That's one damn strong DL crop. Coach Kool must be salivating thinking about the DL we'll be bringing in for 2019.

IF Bama intends to take 6 DLs -- I wouldn't be surprised if Bama takes Tuitele -- before Sept. Tuitele's upside as a pretty vesatile DL is real good. He's just raw, needs some Cochran S&C and Kug technique coaching.

ETA: If that happens, Cheney will probably start looking around and taking visits after the August dead period is over.

If we take Tuitele, we won't take Ika. I'm biased, but prefer Ika myself.

I say take Ika and Tuitele but I do not feel great about landing Sopsher. Unless they can CEO I see him staying instate. We offer the opportunity to win a NC but LSU puts guys like him in the NFL just as well as we do.

I know we have recruited well in LA but have we landed a top DL from their state. I guess T Williams is as close but he was an OLB. Just can't remember a DL we were able to grab.

LSU very rarely develops players like Sopsher. Their history of producing elite DTs over the last decade is dreadful. Especially when compared to ours.

A BOL insider who lives in LA and is very well connected there says Ish Sopsher will sign with Bama regardless of anything LSU and Orgeron do, including offering his brother a scholarship.

But the brother card will run deep in Louisiana with Mama. Especially where he is from. Not saying we can’t swing it, but it’s going to be more difficult now with family pushing the other way.

Man I hope so.. hate to see him wasted there. The reason I say wasted is because we have a coach that can develope him better than anyone.. and with other studs around him teams can’t double team him as much.

Yeah, a lot of fans are high on Ika. I'm fine with Ika or Tuitele. They both can move very well. Ika is just stronger right now. Tuitele's upside is excellent and he appears to be a more versatile DL, which Bama likes.

My guess: Sorrells to USCe & Tuitele to Bama (this month) and then Ika to a PAC12 school.
