Exactly; I paraphrased. I view Tim saying Bama and others viewing his recruitment as a fight as being synonymous with a big threat. I don't think that's exaggerating, but I guess you don't see it the same. I didn't mean to offend or be a Debbie downer.

Regardless, I think we'd agree UGA is a legit concern. Cheers

It's all good. I should've been more diplomatic. I mainly just wanted to ensure Tim Watts' take on Webb's recruitment was clear to everyone. Tim's bottom line: UGA is recruiting Webb hard and he's visiting again so they are a threat; Bama knows all of that and is therefore recruiting him hard too; he still thinks Webb signs with Bama.

I’m going to be honest and say I’m very concerned with Webb. The fact he hasn’t committted and helped recruit scares me. I know Bama leads right now, but wouldn’t be shocked if it was 50/50 after this weekend with UGA. If UGA can land Webb and Dean that would hurt and be a huge recruiting victory. You know I’m in Mississippi and coach here... UGA is a huge threat with Dean. These kids are buying what Kirby (boosters) is (giving) selling..lol

I'm not concerned about UGA getting Webb or Dean. I'm placing and locking in my Crystal Ball picks right now for both of them to Bama, along with Trey Sanders, Ish Sposher and Dax Hill too.

Yours truly,

On a side note.. Am I the only one who is really starting to dislike UGA’s fan base?? They are impossible to talk to and arrogant as hell over not winning anything. I have never seen a team beat their chest so hard after losing.

I have been concerned with Dean and everyone all along has said clay was a lock but I haven't seen him commit. UGA is in it with both

We are in it with so many big time recruits as we enter the stretch run of recruiting. We most likely are not going to get them all, and at the same time we are not going to lose Webb and Dean to UGA, Hill to OU, Sanders to UF, Kayvon to USC, Wright to UT, and Shospher to LSU. But I do think it would help if one of these big guns would commit to us soon, the momentum would be very helpful I think.

That didn't just start for the UGA fanbase. They have been talking shet for 40 years and have one trophy to show for all that mouth.

Marcus Washington just got a run of Mizzou CB's. Previously he was considered an Ohio State lock. He is the wide receiver out of St. Louis who fell 500 spots in one ranking over the summer prompting one Ohio State fan to inquire during a chat if he had been dismembered, was Aaron Hernandez 2.0, or was working deep cover for the GRU. Turns out he just had a bunch of bad camp/event performances.

This might be relevant because he is friends with a favorite recruit of some here, another WR out of St. Louis, Jameson Williams. Most expect Williams at Ohio State, but recently his recruitment has seemed more open. Washington was likely part of the pull to the Buckeyes. While it is likely Williams still ends up in Columbus, IF Washington is going elsewhere that could make Jameson more open to other options.

as for uga fans. it's the weirdest thing when talking to them. its like theyve drug you into a time warp, where they're the greatest college football team in history. where they get all the best players, theyve won all the championships and everybody idolizes them. the really strange part is, this thought process infects a lot of their fanbase. i live in ga now, have been around ga fans my whole life. unless you're prepared to fight, ya better do a lot of head nodding and tongue biting.

Remember a few dozen pages back when everyone was talking about bar fights ?

Well a "friend of mine" (you know the one we all have that gets us in trouble) got into a heated debate with a Georgia fan, (or 6) at a dive in Georgia.

We were asked to leave. I promptly complied, and guided my drunk friend and our dates out to the car.

These mouth breathing, knuckle dragging rednecks followed us out, and jumped us in the parking lot.

We beat the shite out of a couple of them, and in true Georgia fashion the other couple froze up, and just watched.

When the cops showed up they assumed the guys that were disfigured had been attacked by us and we were arrested. (Home town officiating )

Want to know what really happens when you get in a real bar fight ?

You spend the night in the clink, and then spend the next year - or two years of your life fighting to clear your name. (And a lot of money)

I had to watch the guy that attacked me in the parking lot take the stand under oath, and claim that I HAD ATTACKED HIM.

Over a year later I was found not guilty on 6 charges of assault.

It was the most vulnerable, nerve wracking year of my life. To be accused by my own attacker, and have the entire rest of my life in the hands of a jury.

He suffered a detached retina, a
broken orbital bone, etc., in his effort to assault me, and had the balls to show up in court and point his finger at me.

That is Georgia "fans." All bark, no bite, and completely fricking delusional about their failures.

No win has ever given me as much satisfaction/joy as last years title game, and no win will ever come close in the future. I watch "Tua & 26" every Saturday morning with my coffee, and it warms my heart every time. To see the pain on those Georgia fans faces, players, and coaches... its beautiful.

I hate Georgia. I hate Georgia "fans."

All bark, no bite, and terminally delusional.

This may have been discussed, but I noticed Pierce Quick tweet about Darnell Wright and “playing next to him”. I’m taking that as Quick expecting to play guard at Alabama.

So was Dean never an option to come this weekend? After reading some of the UGA message boards, I want him wearing crimson now more than ever.
