So no nuggets from the Dean visit this past weekend? On family vacation last week and my attendance was subpar. I did not maintain my quota of offering absolutely nothing to the information of this thread last week and I apologize.

Rodney Sopsher: “I’ve been knowing coach Pete (Golding) since he’s been at UTSA. We’ve been talking, but it’s nothing serious at this point... just running by possibilities and different stuff like that... waiting to see how the first few games of the season go.”
ETA: Per a very reliable LA-based insider, Ishmael Sopsher's grades will not be an issue. He was spot-on with Surtain's recruitment last winter and has maintained since February that Ish will be wearing Crimson. Hank also said he hasn't heard of grades being a concern. It's probably a rumor originating from LSU fans.

Thanks Surge. I doubt he’ll get an offer but a PWO offer would be fine. However the Cookie Monster could easily get desperate and give Rodney a real offer with the way he’s struck out on the DL this cycle.

I doubt an LSU scholly offer for Rodney will make much difference in LSU's chances of landing Ish. Ish will most likely go where he thinks is best for his own future, just like Trey Sanders. Ishmael is probably just trying to help his brother out as much as he reasonably can. Maybe Eaux will bite and offer Rodney a scholly. Merllins didn't bite.

From what I've seen, some LSU fans already expect Bama to get Ish. They might melt more if Eaux spends a recruit spot & scholly on Rodney in vain. Right now they seem pretty happy that it looks like Tangipahoa area recruits Trey Palmer and Devonta Lee will soon commit to LSU. Some LSU fans think getting Lee and Palmer will help LSU land Sopsher. Per Tim's and Hank's sources and top BOL insiders, it won't.

That's a very early list. Hank gets confirmation from the players before he lists them. He said he expects most of our commits to be there. I'll be very surprised if Lia doesn't come. He's at Bama almost every weekend and has been actively recruiting some top targets to Bama. I haven't seen any rumblings of Lia visiting elsewhere.
