That's consistent with what the top BOL insider (who was at UA on Sat) said about Tuitele's workout -- not that it was bad, just "not overly impressive, but he has A LOT to work with that you can't teach." Kug can improve his technnique and Cochran will do his thing. So the feeling among the staff on Sat was that he's a take. It's possible that status might've changed in the Sunday morning staff meeting, but I doubt it.

I think Bama will take Tuitele's commitment if he's ready to make it. And I think they'll push hard to flip Leal asap -- because if Leal comes aboard, we'll have a great DL haul even if we missed on Sopsher down the stretch. I could be wrong, but I think those three are ahead of Wright on the board. Imo, Wright seems similar to Cheney except he has better height. I'm curious as to why Cheney wasn't at the Champions Cookout. Like you, I'm just speculating.

We're all anxious for commits. 26-28 total minus our 16 commits leaves 10-12 spots.
Looking at Carlton's very nice Commit Timelines board (a few posts above) I did a quick exercise. On the Top Targets board (just above) I changed hudl to HUDL (all caps) for the 12 guys I think Bama would prefer to fill the 12 spots with right now if they were willing to commit. Obviously, I could be wrong about some of those.
My point is this: Generally speaking, the guys that appear to be wanting to commit to Bama right now don't appear to be the guys at the top of their board.
Note: If we landed Tuitele, Leal and Sopsher, I think Cheney may worry about all that stiff competition for PT and go elsewhere. And I assume Bama would be OK with that. Iow, I doubt Bama wants to take more than 6 DLs.

Unfortunately I was thinking something similar to this earlier. There are a lot of guys in play still so commitments may get pushed back. For some reason I do believe Billingsly may have a green light though. I'll probably be moving Daxton Hill out of commit watch next go round. He has fall OVs and his mom has being saying recently she wouldn't be suprised if he waited to NSD Feb. although Dec. would be more likely. That only leaves Tuitele, Metchie, Billingsley, and Carter who would likely have green lights right now and none of us are really sure if they do. Now, reasoned analysis aside, I will pitch an internal fit if no one goes public this week.

I just did a class calculator that is probably inflated but not to far out of the realm it had 1 comitted prospect switching, 26 players, no tight end, 1 3 star kicker, 16 4 stars and 9 5 star players!! Wow what big eyes I have. But the 9 5 stars I picked, there is not 1 who for sure we will not get, but I am sure we will not get all of them, or am I?
