They had a TE that was wayyy over 300 pounds. Also had a guard (I believe) named Purvis Hunt that was > 400 pounds in reality (though listed at like 380). And this was in the 90s. They were so much bigger than anyone else that it was unreal.

"Cornelius Brown’s workout is complete. One source on hand said it couldn’t have gone much better, like 90-plus % completions with Pruitt and multiple assistance there the whole time. The group is eating lunch now and is to meet in the head coach’s office immediately after. If the offer goes out, watch out." -- John Garcia, 247 (06/23)

Smalls looked liked he loved the visit based on social media.
Anyway, I'm in need of a public commit. I don't care if it is class of 2026 at this point, just somebody jump on board.

Golding may be doing a good job on the recruiting trail, but he looks like a slob.
If he is going to be meeting with parents and coaches as a representative of UA he should consider a shower, shave, and haircut. Then immediately lose about 20-30 pounds. (Seriously, another 20 pounds, and he will not be able to run the drills hes teaching)
I'll admit I've turned down plenty of people applying to work for my team based solely on their inability to show up to their interview looking like a professional.

Have you talked to Saban yet?
Posted on 6/24/18 at 12:49 pm to TidalSurge1
A top insider: Staff meeting this morning for some decisions on who they'll take commits from. Tuitele's workout wasn't overly impressive but he has some things that you just can't teach. He has A LOT to work with. Green light? I would say yes from talks before I left yesterday but decisions were/are being made this morning. Unfortunately our staff cant control when these kids decide to go public. Give it until Tuesday. You still think 3 commits by tuesday? Yes.

Wow, how'd you know Golding needs to shower? What about Locksley's weight, and players who have wild hair, beards or are too fat? Bama has showers, a barber shop, great training facilites, Cochran, a dietician, etc. So, what's wrong? Complacency? Saban is the boss, so doesn't all that slacking and sloppiness really fall on him? Will you please advise Saban on hiring, discipline, accountability, etc. and how to right the ship before it sinks into the abyss? Butch Jones is pretty fit, clean cut and well dressed. Should Saban cut sloppy guys like Golding and Locksley loose? Should he promote Jones to OC?
