Alabama has more players and a higher average star per recruit (by almost 0.2) and is somehow behind UGA?

I posted about this after ESD but basically they redid their stupid points system so that their top player at each position gives such an insane amount of points more than 2-5 at the position that if a team gets a few of those they are set. It is the dumbest thing.

It’s that tweak to the formula part with rivals. Something about extra points for a guy being ranked so high at his position group.

It lets them manipulate the overall scores without drastically changing rankings. Several UGA players jumped into the top 5 of their position groups after ESD and that gave them a gigantic bump.

HT would be a nice get but it isnt a major loss imo. Shane Lee, Harris, and Kaho will do just fine.

But the recruiting when it comes to the DLine is subpar at best and that was what I would have thought with the hiring of Coach O would literally be our strength and we would have the biggest and baddest recruits on the DLine every year!!! LSU hasn't really been relevant to the conversation of playing for a national championship, late in the season, in over half a decade... it's not that hard to figure out... they have some of the best facilities, they are one of the best teams every year, they always put talent in the NFL, and they are coached by the best to ever do it...

It lets them ignore the filler that almost every team but Alabama has at the bottom of the class.
