LINK ]Bama in the mix for in-state grad transfer punter (BamaOnLine-VIP)
LINK ]Corliss Waitman, a grad transfer punter from South Alabama, OVd UA in late January and is deciding between Bama and Mississippi State. 2018 season: 62 punts for 2,792 yards = 41.7 avg., 19 inside the 20, 15 of 50+ and long of 58.
Eta: Unless there's a way to take Waitman without spending a signing/initial counter spot (e.g., via the voluntary withdawal exception), I'd say go with this guy:
0* P Nash Acton 5-11/185 MS hudl (PWO)
Acton punted 49 times this past season for 2,394 yards, an average of 48.9 yards per punt.
Eta: Jeff4Bama -- "I roomed with Nash's dad at Bama. I haven’t talked a lot with Chad over the past few years, but I do know that Chad would love for his son to come to Bama. Chad was a walk on punter himself during the Curry/Stallings transition era. -- Just spoke with Chad. He said that Alabama, Oklahoma State, USM, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Georgia and now Miss State are talking to Nash."

Is it me or by taking Ealy the staff knows they have missed on someone ease bc he is prolly going MLB ?
Posted on 2/3/19 at 3:42 pm to Bear88
I'm hoping it's the opposite.
We stopped recruiting him heavily because we assumed he was headed to MLB, but Charles Huff knew he wasn't decided yet so when he joined the staff we upped our game.

Tim Watts says he is going to wait until Tuesday to do an official projection for the class, but he likes where Alabama stands for Byron Young and Henry To'oto'o as of today.
ETA: He was asked specifically about these two so don't freak the frick out Sean.

He probably commented on those two specifically for Sean.

The Bama CBs for Quashon Fuller came from FSU and USCe mods.

Sopsher isn't a 5* anymore, so Sean the Bulldog won't be concern trolling over him.

Oregon mod Kevin Wade CBd Henry To'oto'o to Cloudy and USCe mod JC Shurburtt CBd him to UW. Schurburtt is probably guessing, imo.

4-star DE Quashon Fuller 6-2.5/270 FL hudl
“It’s going to Bama and Florida State” hats on the table Wednesday. “They’re both neck and neck... She (mom) likes Bama. She only likes Florida State and Bama. This trip right here has probably been the best college trip I’ve taken in my life. There was nothing better than this.”

HA funny guy. I'm currently in PUerto Rico on a surf/hiking trip! I don't see really any drop off with talent no matter who we get. Ealy would be lovely

It only makes sense for To'oto'o to sign with Bama. He won't make or break this class but he might stand the most to gain when it comes to early playing time.
