Bogle has seemed legitimately torn between Alabama and Miami this week in San Antonio.
“It’s real close,” Bogle told BamaOnLine on Thursday night. “I’m getting closer and closer to my decision. ... [What makes the decision so hard is] "Making the right decision and feeling comfortable with that school … sticking with that school for the rest of the recruiting process."
Bogle officially visited Miami on Dec. 13 and took his official visit to Alabama on Dec. 9. He was close with Manny Diaz during his recruitment, so Diaz taking over at the helm at Miami has not negatively affected Bogle's outlook on the 'Canes.

247Sports national recruiting analyst Charles Power projects Bogle as an eventual Day 2 selection in the NFL draft with traits similar to Barkevious Mingo, the former LSU star. In Bogle's scouting report, Power writes:
Streamlined physique with exceptionally long arms that nearly hang to his knees. Slender build with room to pack on significant weight. Appears taller than he measures due to his length and build. Fluid speed rusher who uses his length and long stride to make plays in the backfield. Uses his range to track down plays in backside pursuit. Good athlete who should improve his explosion, strength and size with time in a college level strength and nutrition program. Will need time early in his career as he’s underdeveloped physically. Needs to continue getting stronger, which will aid in setting the edge and holding his ground at the point of attack. Projects as a late-career Power 5 starter who should see considerable improvement over the course of his college career with his best football being played as an upperclassman.

LINK ]Decision Primer: 4-star CB Marcus Banks (247Sports)

LINK ]Marcus Banks, the No. 189 overall prospect and No. 21 cornerback in the 247Sports Composite, will announce his college commitment Saturday, Jan. 5, during the All-American Bowl in San Antonio.
According to NBC, Banks' commitment announcement will occur during the first quarter.
Banks is choosing between Alabama and Texas A&M. The 247Sports Crystal Ball favors the Crimson Tide for the 6-foot, 170-pound Houston (Texas) Dekaney product, who is regarded as a four-star recruit.

Banks told 247Sports when he arrived for All-American Bowl check-in Dec. 31 that his mind had already been made up. He took official visits to Florida in December, Florida State in November, Alabama in September and Texas A&M in April, with more unofficial visits to Alabama and Texas A&M sprinkled in throughout that time.

According to national analyst Gabe Brooks, Banks projects as a Day 2 NFL Draft selection with traits similar to former first-round pick William Jackson III. Brooks writes:
"Long cornerback prospect with good height and wingspan. Possesses the frame to be on the bigger end of the corner spectrum, though narrow through the core and could be somewhat limited in bulking potential. Lean and athletic, but maybe a bit high-cut. Plays with impressive athleticism that has also been shown in a combine testing environment. Great top-end speed that helps in vertical coverage and makeup speed. Above average fluidity for a taller, longer cover man. Turns and locates the ball in the red zone. Instinctive corner with a feel for the position that bears out on tape. Must add bulk to improve overall strength and effectiveness when asked to press at the college level. At current size, could be overwhelmed by bigger, more physical receivers at the high-major level. Will need to clean up tackling technique and consistency. Potential to project to early rounds of NFL Draft."

247 and Rivals will update after all the all-star games. I assume ESPN (and Scout if they still exist) will too.

Any chance at movement? I don't know of any fringe guys. Or maybe guys because ng held back by another group.

Scout was acquired by 247Sports and now just uses the 247 Composite. It's generated from the 247, Rivals and ESPN rankings and automatically updated when they're updated. Iirc, all three do final updates after the all-star games.

Neal is moving up. Outside of him it’s hard to predict. In past years i’ve seen Rivals say a kid had a horrible week and 247 say the same kid really shined.
Alfano has a good chance to move up on Rivals.
Battle, Dalcourt and Christian Harris with decent chances to move up (especially Battle).

Is see Dale and Tanner has 3 starams with rivals.

Some of our signees and targets may move up (raising our class score) but few appear to be within range of becoming 5-stars. Iirc, the final 247 Composite ranking assigns 5-stars to the top 35 overall players.
Jeffery Carter's #48 CB ranking by Rivals is way off (247 #2 CB, ESPN #4 CB), keeping him from being a composite 5-star. Unfortunately, he can't play in an all-star game due to injury. So, I hope some Rivals members call them out to correct their idiotic ranking for him in their final update. BOL posters don't hesitate to question any 247 player rankings that look wrong.
Henry To'oto'o is close to five-star range, but he also can't play in all-star games due to injury.
Pierce Quick is also close to 5-star range, but he chose to join in Bama's playoff practices instead of playing in all-star games.
Ishmael Sopsher may be at risk of dropping out of the 5-star range.

Rivals a joke. 247 should just take them out of the composite and let them die off.

Any commits tomorrow or just hat on the table.
Posted on 1/5/19 at 12:34 am to Gustave
believe these are normally made on the field without the tables etc... Remembering the Landon Collins moment when he pulled out an Alabama Hat and his mother grabbed it and tossed it away saying oh no you arent. But, I havent watched these in several years... I could be mistaken
