It's sad that the game is even being played in that stadium. It's known for having a horrible field. I just hope no one gets a serious injury

Squandered is the choice of words being used by others. Not necessarily mine. I know of one embarrassing situation that Webb got in at his school (he was facing a potential expulsion due to an issue that came up between him and another student) that Clemson and UGa coaches pounced on, giving him encouragement. Key was AWOL during that. That's the point in time that it's said that we lost a lot of our momentum.

Just watched one of the best movies of all time. Got my acoustic out and my fingers just remembered the riffs from like a decade ago.

Gonna play it before the game Monday.

Dude, we've been through so much shite,
Deactivated lasers with my dick
Now it's time to blow this fricker down!
C'mon Kage, now it's time to blow doors down
I hear you Jables, now it's time to blow doors down
Light up the stage 'cause it's time for a showdown
We'll bend you over then we'll take you to Brown Town
Now we've got to blow this fricker down
He's gonna rape me if we do not blow doors down
C'mon Kage 'cause it's time to blow doors down
Oh, we'll piledrive you, it's time for the smackdown

I own a fender acoustic

My all blackYamaha 6 string electric with fender amp is my heart and soul though.

I play like a few times a year now. I used to play every single day from age 12-18. Once I got out of college, I stopped playing as much.

It’s funny, after a 10 minute picking session, it all comes back which is an awesome feeling.

LINK ]UA All-America Game: Five teams that should be pleased (Rivals | segments)
quote:

Under Armour All-America Bowl week has come to a close and we learned a lot about the players in attendance for the game and the Future 50 combine. Take a look at the teams that should be most pleased by the performances of their signees, commits and targets.

ALABAMA

Evan Neal

It’s not surprising Alabama makes this list. The Crimson Tide had the most commitments in the UA Game, with safety Jordan Battle and offensive tackle Evan Neal playing like the best of the group. Defensive line signee Justin Eboigbe had a very good week and showed up plenty.

Rivals 100 linebacker signee Shane Lee looked good in the game as well. Rivals250 prospects Kevin Harris and King Mwikuta are athletic freaks and should benefit from Alabama's strength and conditioning program in a big way. They are great fits in Alabama’s defense.

Rivals100 offensive lineman Amari Kight had an up-and-down week, but it’s easy to see his potential is off the charts. Rivals250 defensive back Brandon Turnage got better as the week went on and really made life difficult for receivers he faced. Four-star offensive lineman Darrian Dalcourt fought hard and his effort was very noticeable, even when he lost some reps.

2020 Tide commit Chris Braswell did a great job playing linebacker in the Future 50 combine. The Rivals100 prospect has plenty of room to fill out his frame and looked very natural playing in space.

Rivals100 linebacker Reggie Grimes is an Alabama legacy, and he looks like one of the huge linebackers that the Crimson Tide love to stock up with. He did a good job covering down the field and he really stood out during the 7-on-7 portion of the combine.

Five-star wide receiver targets Rakim Jarrett and Julian Fleming were two of the best on Thursday and each of them have the Crimson Tide in their top groups.

Note: Kight didn't impress on day-1, but he got better every day and played well in the game.

The wife gave me permission to go yesterday due to the ticket prices being extremely low.

However, the plane ticket prices are astronomical.

I have a decent amount of air miles due to my travels to Korea, but they don't even cover half of one roundtrip ticket.

I can pay the difference, but I have my eye on a few house upgrades I'm not willing to give up. So, basically, nothing really changed. I'll be watching from home.

LINK ]Under Armour All-America Game: Final stock report from the week (Rivals | segments)
quote:

ORLANDO — Under Armour All-America week is behind us. We have watched four practices and a game, so now is the time to take a look back at the full week, examine our daily notes and see who may make a move up or down the final rankings update for the 2019 class.

There will always be movement in rankings after events like this, and depending on where a prospect is currently ranked, some moves will be significantly bigger than others, but after a full week watching some elite talent compete on the Under Armour All-America Game stage, here is the final stock report.

STOCK UP

LINK ]Evan Neal had a very impressive week overall. He did struggle a little when they worked him at guard, but he won some reps there and dominated when he worked at tackle. Going to Alabama, it is hard not seeing Neal being very successful. Starting as a true freshman in Tuscaloosa is not out of the question. How he moves at his size is scary.

Mississippi State commit LINK ]Nathan Pickering may have gotten off to somewhat of a slow start, but once he got going, he was impressive. He did not win the most reps, but when he got after it, he was tough to slow down. He showed more aggression and violent hands later in the week and that led to more victories.

STOCK DOWN

There has been talk about LINK ]Ishmael Sopsher and whether he is a true five-star this fall. He does flash on tape and he is a big body at a premium position, but he did not play at that level this week. He did not take as many reps as others, and when he did he struggled. Is he fully healthy? Sopsher is still very talented, but his performance in Florida did not equate to the No. 18 prospect in the country.

I predict Neal will be our starting LT against Duke. Assuming Jonah goes pro. He has future top 10 draft pick written all over him. Especially after a year or two with Cochran.

LINK ]Under Armour All-America Game: The Ferrell Awards (Rivals | segments)

quote:

ORLANDO — The Under Armour All-America Game is in the books with Team Ballaholics defeating Team Flash 28-27. After following practices all week leading up to the game in Orlando, here are the Ferrell Awards from the week.

BULL MARKET - This goes to the player who raised his stock the most during the week. Honorable mention: I was also impressed with two Mississippi players, both committed to Mississippi State, in LINK ]Nathan Pickering and Charles Moore. Alabama safety signee LINK ]Jordan Battle also impressed me.

BEAR MARKET - This award is not one that you want; it's for the player whose stock dropped the most. Honorable mention: Defensive tackle LINK ]Ishmael Sopsher didn’t play up to his five-star status for the most part.

PHYSICAL PROWESS - This award is given to the best-looking prospect on the hoof, the guy who looks like he could play in college or even the NFL right now. While he needs to drop a little bit bad weight, offensive tackle LINK ]Evan Neal looks like he could start for an NFL team right now. He’s that big.

HARD HAT - This goes to the biggest hitter, which is essentially the guy who laid the lumber in the game or by accident in practice, because there was not much tackling to the ground during the week. Honorable mention: Alabama signee LINK ]Shane Lee is a big hitter.

THE SNUGGIE - This is for the player who provided the best coverage on defense during the week. Alabama safety signee LINK ]Jordan Battle plays safety, but he can cover like a cornerback and has great size and athleticism.

MR. CONSISTENCY - This award goes to the player who was simply good all week long and could be relied upon to bring it each and every day. Honorable mention: LINK ]Evan Neal was strong during practice and during the game.

GAME CHANGER - This award goes to the player who had the biggest impact in the game itself. Honorable mention: LINK ]Shane Lee was all over the field.

Leatherwood lost some luster inside this year, but I agree, I kind of expect Neal and Leatherwood to be at Tackles for us next year.
