Lord, Bevo almost really hurt some folks
Twitter video of Bevo almost killing folks

That might do it for Bevo being on the field. We might as well put a damn elephant out there

Sad to hear that . I heard them say he had days to live but it really didn’t hit me that the bowl trip would be his last wish . Kudos for Irsay for making the accommodations happen for him

Frankly, these exercises don't necessarily mean much - in either direction. Sure, you would rather look great than bad, but it's just a moment in time, often just running drills. Time and circumstance can change things dramatically.

They mean nothing? This is the first time you can see how good these kids really are. Just remember Amari Cooper tearing it up in one of these games. Julio as well and many others.

LINK ]All-American Bowl: Day-1 top performers (247Sports | embedded Alfano video)

quote:

SAN ANTONIO — For the second year in a row, both the East and the West squads practiced inside the Alamodome here at the All-American Bowl, allowing us to watch each team go through 1on1s, 7on7, scrimmages and more.

Here are the top performers from Tuesday — combining both squads — including an alpha dog who might be a household name very soon in the SEC. We're spotlighting the quarterback performances in a separate piece.

247Sports Composite ranking in parenthesis.

ALPHA DOG

It’s telling when a prospect can come into an All-American setting and dominate not just look better than his peers but significantly better. Alabama signee LINK ]Antonio Alfano (28) didn’t just look better than his peers — he was significantly better.

Alfano showed up lean and fit at 275 pounds but at that size, he spent most of Tuesday’s practice at defensive tackle and was strong enough to hold the point of attack. He flashed athleticism as a penetrator that was totally disruptive; offensive linemen couldn’t do anything with him. In the run game, Alfano created chaos and notched several tackles for loss. From a consistency and splash standpoint, nobody had a bigger impact than Alfano.

247Sports already considers Alfano as the No. 8 player in the class of 2019, much higher than his 247Sports Composite ranking. His standing could rise after this week.

Note: No other Bama recruits in rest of article.

Alfano is a monster. I think he should get consideration for #1 overall.

Georgia is getting BEAT DOWN!!! Maybe, future recruits will be able to see through all the hype as they implode in their bowl game and diminish any momentum going into next season!

AND some of their players were trolling Notre Dame implying they should have been in the playoffs.
